  • "The studio is lovely and bright from getting light in from 3 sides of the room."

The bathroom too has a proper window, making it airy and bright. We thought the studio was well equipped.....toiletries, plenty of loo paper and plenty of towels in the bathroom. We were able to cook proper meals each night because all the pots, pans, dishes and cutlery etc were there. There was also washing up liquid, laundry liquids, all the cleaning products and cloths you could possibly want. We were impressed with the generous amounts of sachets of tea, coffee, chocolate, sugar, hellmans, ketchup etc., plus salt, pepper and vinegar. In the fridge were bottles of water and lots of uht mini milks. Its as if the owner had thought through what a weary traveller would appreciate as soon as they walked in. Forgot to mention the little sachets of biscuits. The place felt welcoming. We liked the info stuck on the fridge with phone number, wi fi p/ word and a warm message of greeting. We have not given 5 stars for 2 reasons. There was no sofa, which meant you had to sit on the bed to relax or watch tv. Two bedside lamps instead of one would have been good. However, the thing that made our stay memorable for the wrong reason was the steel spiral staircase to access the studio. It has open risers and isnt enclosed...only the steel bars. The top platform is tiny. You have to stand there, very aware of the drop down, as you unlock the door, which seriously sticks so you have to shoulder it open. Its an accident waiting to happen. The day we left, it was raining and one of us slipped on a step. The steel treads were lethal. I wouldn't book this studio again because of these stairs. Replace the stairs, put a sofa in and an extra bedside lamp. Sunflower would be 5 stars all the way then. Its gorgeous otherwise. Oh, just one little thing. We would have liked to have swept the floor before leaving. No brush though!
