  • "A lovely place for a solo traveller or a couple, we used it as a base of operations for a few days to explore Bath, Cirencester and Avebury."

    The annex was lovely and clean and the hamper was appreciated, thank you! One tiny thing to mention, you left us a pint of milk for a cuppa but there was no tea or coffee! A couple of bags included in the hamper would have been amazing, but of course this was not enough to put a damper on the lovely few days we spent here. We would definitely come back to explore other parts of the local area, and look forward to our next stay!

  • "Wonderful place to stay."

    Lovely open plan property with lovely views over fields. It is well equipped and very comfortable. It was a lovely surprise to find a 'welcome pack' full of goodies and milk in the fridge. Our dog loved having his bed by the windows being able to watch the world go by. The owners even had a basket full of dog blankets for their canine guests! Ewan & Sarah are such thoughtful hosts. We so enjoyed our stay and hope that we stay there again.

  • "Had a wonderful stay at the annexe."

    It was warm and cosy even during a cold snap, with stunning views and a fantastic location that worked perfectly for my needs. The space was impeccably clean and very well-equipped, making it a comfortable and convenient place to stay. A few minor improvements could make it even better: the kitchen knives could be sharper or updated, more bathroom towels would be appreciated, and plugs near a mirror would be helpful for drying hair. Additionally, the shower containers were empty, so providing shampoo and shower gel would be a nice touch. Overall, a great experience, and I’d happily stay again!

    The annexe was lovely very comfortable a lovely hamper was left for us and milk in the fridge. The views from the annexe were lovely and lots of walks. Would definitely recommend the annexe to friends and family.

  • "We both absolutely loved the Annex, everything finished to a very high standard."

    Couldn't fault it, other than perhaps adding a microwave would be very helpful. Peaceful and beautiful countryside views.

  • "Upper Annex was a perfect refuge while I had building work at home and was without kitchen and bsthroom."

    Stylishly designed and lovely dog walking country. Because I am very old fashioned I found the high tec appliances etc a bit overwhelming. Never did discover how to set the clock on the oven. And would have welcomed a dustpan and brush to keep the floors clean rathar than tackle the vacuum cleaner. But these are minor quibbles- overall my stay was very happy. Thank you

  • "Friendly, welcoming owner."

    Accommodation was lovely, spacious and had nice balcony to sit on with perfect views of the fields opposite. We appreciated the binoculars in the annex and watched the wildlife in the evenings. Well furnished with really comfy bed and sofa, lovely decor. Bathroom and kitchen well equipped. Was scorching weather when we stayed but annex didn’t get too hot thanks to brilliant honeycomb blinds. Lovely welcome basket, thank you! Easy parking right outside and loads to see in the area with good roads and easy access close by. Highly recommend.
