  • "Glencoe is a lovely property with a beautiful garden."

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing was that the oven wasn't as clean as would be expected. The shelves needed to be cleaned before use due to them being greasy with bits of burnt food hanging off them.

  • "Brilliant property, loved the setting, garden & the house."

Spotlessly clean & appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The only slight criticism we had was a lack of hanging space in the two bedrooms. The person in the small bedroom (my mum), would have liked a few hooks on the wall on which to hang things & some more coat hangers. Otherwise a perfect stay, thank you!

Beautiful views over farmland and hills. Beds very good, bathrooms excellent. Lovely sunny patio and tidy garden. Some road noise during the day, friendly welcoming hosts. Plenty of good pubs close by and great base for touring all Cotswolds. We enjoyed Crown and Trumpet pub in Broadway and Bell Inn at Willersey.

The views from the cottage were lovely . The rear garden was very safe for dogs. The road network meant it was easy to get around the Cotswolds. Dog walking did require going out in the car but given the close proximity of Broadway we used walks there and loved our visits there. Broadway is so dog friendly and a truly scenic place. All in all a lovely cottage to stay in.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider returning."

Glencoe has been thoughtfully converted to holiday accommodation, has a particularly well-equipped kitchen and with two families we appreciated having two lovely bathrooms and a downstairs loo and utility area. The central heating works well and the log burner was a great asset too. The living area has a very practical tiled floor and a quirky but, in our opinion, not very comfortable sofa. Bedrooms and bathrooms exceeded our expectations, whilst (possibly personal preference again) we found the beds in the two main bedrooms very soft and bouncy. It's possible to walk into Broadway village across the fields on public footpaths, which took us 30-45 minutes. The only negative is the location; this provides beautiful rural views and is quiet at night, but is on a through road which is busy at most times of the day. Whilst there is off road parking which just takes two cars, the gate is a little narrow and reversing in (or out!) needs a very careful eye on approaching traffic.

  • "The cottage was clean and welcoming."

We especially liked the secure back garden for our dog. The beds were extremely comfortable with good quality linen. The kitchen was well stocked with both cutlery and crockery, everything you could need. We were unable to get the dishwasher working, but the owner resolved this quickly and without any fuss. We feel the 3rd bedroom could do with a few pictures to brighten it up. The only downside is that it's difficult to go for a walk directly from the house as there is no paved area, but this was not unexpected. All in all a very good experience and would recommend.

  • "Cottage is in a rural location, ideally accessible to most of the the Cotswold attractions."

The facilities were excellent, with a good garden outside foe outside eating. While the master bedroom had a wardrobe the other two bedrooms lacked facilities to hang clothes. The access to the Cottage itself had a difficult road access if you were using two cars. The outside road was busy through the day making it difficult to reverse into the drive safely. The owners of the property live next door, so are on hand to sort out any difficulties and are a source of information about the local. We had an excellent break despite the Covic limitations on many of the NatTrust properties in the area.

Helen and her family are such welcoming and friendly hosts, they made us feel at home straight away. The cottage itself is beautiful, well kitted out and immaculately clean. The rooms are spacious, bright and airy. The kitchen is small but perfectly functional, there is a lovely patio and garden. All the facilities we needed for our stay were provided. The owners living next door meant that we didn't have to wait more than half an hour for a problem with the boiler to be fixed. The cottage is located away from Broadway town centre so a car would be needed to get around, but if you are a keen walker, you can get into town using the footpaths just opposite the cottage. Our only disappointment was that we hadn't booked a longer stay but we will be back.

There was milk, coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits, as well as dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. There was a tea towel and lots of fluffy towels for the bathrooms. The fire was made up ready in the log burner. The cottage is in a lovely location, although you can walk accross the fields to Broadway the weekend we were there we didn't attempt it as the rain had made the fields very boggy. We loved the cottage and the hosts were very aminable, lending us there hose pipe so we could clean the dogs off. There were dog towels in the back of the garage and a water bowl outside for the dogs. The garden was well fenced in and we felt safe lettings the boys wander outside.

We had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Beautifully furnished and the garden was very pretty. Ideal for our dogs. The views were amazing especially out the front . The location was great for all the Cotswold attractions. However, walking wasn’t easy immediately around the cottage itself. You really needed to drive somewhere. The footpaths weren’t easily accessible . Very overgrown or ‘blocked’ deliberately by farmers not wanting you on their land! Shame. Still would highly recommend it though even if you are thinking of taking dogs there as other walks were worth the drive.

  • "We booked this cottage as the location was ‘Broadway’, it turned out to be a few minutes drive from Broadway, with no means of walking there."

As we were on holiday with our dog, walks from the doorstep is imperative, so although the cottage itself was lovely, we felt trapped as we had to get into the car every time our dog needed a walk. Also no local information in the cottage such as nearest vets etc, which you would expect from a dog friendly cottage. Additionally there is no visitors book, so we could not even gain experience of previous dog owner holiday makers.
