  • "Amazing place right in the centre of town."

Dover Hill is a nice 20 minutes walk away and very easy to get to. The town has everything you need in it. We booked on the basis of previous reviews and they were accurate down to a T. Bedroom is spacious, nice big bathroom and enough room in the living room for 2 by the fire. would have been quite cosey with 4 though I think. Firewood is available round the corner from the Co-op. The TV is a very good quality screen which is around 38 inches. It comes away from the wall so the pictures make it look more awkward than it is. Towels were a little small so if you like a big towel would suggest bringing your own, similarly only 1 toilet roll is provided so should definitely bring extra. Would definitely go back and it gets a well deserved 5 stars.

  • "Lovely cottage in a perfect location minutes from the Cotswold Way."

There are numerous eating places in the village and everyone was really friendly. We had a great night in the The volunteer Inn at the other end of the village. It is a traditional pub that was full of locals.Lanes Cottage was very clean and the beds really comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and the accommodation Manager was at the end of the phone to answer any queries. It is a perfect place for a quiet few days away. Will definitely come back!

! Loved the back gardens and location was great for walking around in Chipping Campden. Be sure to pack some TP and shower gel, as they did not provide much and nice to not have to worry about going out to purchase right away. Would rent again, such a lovely place :)

Perfect for a weekend break. The boys were delighted with the chocolate cake on arrival and the milk was a welcome extra and saved us shopping until the next morning. Everything was perfect for the day, so thank you.

  • "We have had a wonderful four days in the Cotswold’s."

The cottage and garden have been a delight. Cosy by the fire in the evenings and we enjoyed having our lunch in the garden as the weather has been gorgeous. Everyone has been extremely friendly here and we don’t want to go back to the ‘rat race’. Thank you so much for the delightful cottage, hope to be back very soon.

About the location

Moreton-in-Marsh 8 miles; Stratford-upon-Avon 12 miles

This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. For a dose of famous history, head to the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon just 12 short miles away, it offers some charming little buildings, bookshops, theatres and museums.
