  • "Fantastic venue for a large family/friends group."

    Helpful, kind owners (baked a yummy Victoria Sponge for us -homemade jam!!) Every possible item one might require provided -and all in working order! Close to lots of places to visit, Tetbury, Cirencester, Westonbirt Arboretum, Stroud plus easy access to main Cotswold towns and villages. Would definitely return.

  • "Lovely weekend with family to celebrate a 60th birthday."

    Very warm welcome. Amazing accomodation for 15 of us, age ranges from 1years up to 73. We could all eat, sleep and socialise together under one roof, very peaceful. Great base for visiting the area plenty of choice for all interests

  • "Stayed here with my family for a milestone birthday celebration weekend."

    Beautiful property, comfortable and cozy and extremely spacious. Good quality furnishings and bed linen and towels, all rooms and bathrooms clean and tidy, well equipped kitchen, lovely well kept accommodation with plenty of space for everone. The owner very kindly baked us a lovely cake to welcome us, which was delicious - thank you. We didn't really want to leave as it was so homely and comfortable! Would definitely visit again, an ideal property for a special group/family event.

Cirencester 10 miles.

Tetbury retains a wealth of character within its ancient streets. The town’s origins date back to 681, but it was during the Middle Ages that it flourished as one of the major markets for The Cotswold wool trade. Nowadays The Market Hall is still home to a busy general market every Wednesday, whilst the town as a whole is something of a mecca for antique hunters with several shops in the town and regular fairs in the vicinity. Closeby is the Forestry Commission’s Westonbirt Arboretum, one of the largest collections of rare shrubs and trees in Europe, whilst further afield (but still within easy driving distance) are the elegant Regency cities of Bath and Cheltenham, Shakespeare’s Stratford and other attractions such as the internationally renowned Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust.
