We felt relaxed as soon as we walked into the kitchen. It's the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. Beautiful cottage, lovely surroundings and very secure for our dog. The owners were very friendly but not intrusive. We cant wait to return.

Spotlessly clean Every little detail has been thought about and there was everything that we needed while there. The garden is totally dog proof so there was no worrying about the dog escaping. Highly recommended and have already booked to visit again.

  • "Brambles is a beautiful and quaint cottage."

It's spacious and cosy. My husband and I took our dog with us for a weeks stay and we had a peaceful and restful break. Garden was fully enclosed and very private. Sitting in the hot tub with the views of the Malvern Hills which are literally on the doorstep, was the highlight of our break. The owners Jess and Stuart left us to it but were there on hand if we needed anything. Thanks for leaving the lovely bits for breakfast Jess. We have booked both cottages again for next Easter and cannot wait to go as a whole family. Thank you for a lovely break x

  • "Brambles cottage is a fantastic holiday cottage."

As a family of 5, 3 older children and one dog, we found the cottage was a perfect size, plenty of space to escape each other and great size areas to be together, including a fantastic hot tub. Very clean and tidy on arrival, with everything we needed. We did not use the kitchen for much cooking but it looked well stocked with all utensils etc. Having two washing areas a bathroom and shower room also very helpful. Location is great to explore the Malvern Hills and further afield. Overall this is excellent accommodation.

The only thing the property could benefit from is better sound insolation in the lounge from next door. Conversations and the dog barking next door can be heard very clearly through the boarded up doorway in the corner of the lounge.

  • "We were absolutely delighted with our stay in Brambles Cottage!"

The owner had not only left a very generous welcome pack, but had beautifully decorated the cottage for Christmas too. So many delightful touches which went way beyond what we could have expected. They had even thought to turn on the hot tub in advance so we could use it on the first day. The cottage itself had every facility we could have wanted and was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The fenced in back garden meant my dog could be safely let out which I also very much appreciated. One tiny problem I encountered, (which the owners had mentioned), was finding the cottage on the first day, in the dark. There is a sign facing the road, but in the dark and with heavy fog, I couldn't see it and ended up driving past it several times. I wonder if it might help to have reflective posts by the entrance? But this is a minor point. We were delighted with our stay and would certainly highly recommend this cottage and want to visit again. Thank you to the owners for making our stay such a delight.

The garden was excellent! Properly dog proof and big with lots of room to run around and also some trees for the dogs to snuffle in. The hot tub was a real bonus. So relaxing after a long day, to sit and look at the hills and night sky, whilst being warmed through and massaged. Perfect. The owners left lots of really helpful information and were also easy to contact. A really great venue.

In a perfect location with great walks straight from the door. The cottage makes a perfect base to explore the local area. The owners were perfect hosts giving us the level of attention to allow us to have a great holiday. Our only one issue was with the WIFI. We were aware that do to the location access would be limited. However one day we struggled to get enough connectivity to check our e-mails. But to many this would be a plus as it is sometimes great to be away from work. All in all a great property worth a visit. Hopefully one day soon we will be able to return.

  • "The cottage was well located and clean."

Hottub was great. This cottage lacked some heating. The electric fire which was the only source of effective heating in the living room was not working. We told the owner this and she came and checked. we were promised a replacement heater for the following day and it never arrived and the owner did not come and see us again. Therefore we were having to sit with duvets on so not ideal for a February break. The underfloor heating was very inefficient throughout the kitchen area as well. In contrast, the hot water was VERY VERY hot and heating upstairs very efficient. Other than being cold the cottage was lovely.

Jess and Stuart provide everything you could ever need. It really is home from home. They provide an excellent welcome pack - bread / milk / butter / coffee / tea / sugar / locally made apple juice / the most gorgeous biscuits / dog treats and maps and books on the local area. The property is ideally located for the Malvern Hills - Upton-on Severn - Worcester - Malvern / Ledbury and many more places to visit and so many walks. The local butchers in Ledbury is highly recommended D T Waller and the fish and chips at the Malvern Hills Hotel after a long day walking the hills. Fully enclosed big garden with excellent hot tub looking onto the Malvern Hills. Immaculately clean and welcoming property. • "Brambles Cottage was very lovely, comfy and clean."

The owners very kindly left a welcome pack, which was very nice. The area was lovely and we did have a good holiday. However, from the description on Sykes we were not aware we were going to a farm environment. This only became apparent when we received our holiday details and address, etc, just before departure. This wasn't a problem until the Wednesday of our stay when I was awoken around 8am by banging from building work being done. On the Thursday, my birthday, our peace was literally shattered by the arrival of a concrete mixer and another piece of machinery. From about 10am that morning the concrete mixer was outside Brambles Cottage and the other piece of machinery was actually outside the gate going backwards and forwards moving concrete from the mixer to another site on the farm. The noise was terrible, even from inside the cottage. We have photos and video footage of this to capture the actual noise. We could not have gone outside the gate. We were, in fact, waiting for a taxi to go out for a meal so were at the cottage all morning. This virtually ruined our last morning at Brambles. The lady owner did apologise to us for the noise when we were leaving that day, and the owner himself did tell us they were having work done on our arrival on 23 March. However, my point is we should have been made aware of this either before we booked, or having booked we should have been given the opportunity to book an alternative stay somewhere else. It is a bit late to tell guests there is building work going to happen when they arrive, having booked and paid in advance, and looking forward to a peaceful holiday in the countryside. I would value your comments. Thank you.

We had an amazing Christmas, the tree and decorations were really appreciated. Our 3 dogs loved the garden and we were relaxed in the knowledge that they could run free and not get out. I only have 1 niggle and that is that the settee is past its best and isn`t very comfortable for ageing bones. The young ones were fine with it but us oldies struggled to get up as it is very low and the cushions slope backwards.
