  • "Excellent stay because it was obvious that the owner really cares about the people that stay."

Upon arrival the house was in perfect condition and has we noticed it had been renovated to an excellent standard, combining old and new. The owners are clearly proud of it and have left a photobook showing the work that had been carried out. A bottle of fresh milk and a nice cake were left for us, which makes a huge difference after a long road trip. So many places don't bother with this simple gesture but it makes the world of difference. The owner was quick to reply to any questions too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, especially with at least one good pub in easy walking distance. Very tiny observation is that we could have done with bigger towels, but that's me scratching around for something to improve. What's not to like?

Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. These comments are very helpful. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the suggestion over the towels which we will consider. Property Owner

We also had to park on a very busy street with road work going on. Off-road parking would have been helpfull. The cottage was, however, in pristine shape, comfortable and warm.

Many thanks for your comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

The cottage is located in a beautiful little village - with 3 fabulous pubs (with food), a great fish and chip shop and post office with cafe (particularly great for breakfasts). We shall definitely be returning next year.

Second downstairs smaller bedroom ideal for 1 adult. Fantastic kitchen equipped for every occasion with plenty of space for 2 or more to cook!! Living room and dining area very comfortable too, with lots of helpful guides, games, books, etc. Cottage felt very welcoming and cosy and was remarkably quiet for roadside cottage - very thick walls helped! No private parking, however street parking always just along the road. South Cerney a beautiful village with pubs, deli, shops within easy walking distance, and many interesting local walks to explore. An ideal location to explore the Cotswolds.

The way the accommodation is laid out makes it feel very spacious. Two settees made it very comfortable! The kitchen is incredibly well equipped (apart from a full-size cafetiere) and a real joy to cook in. The village is lovely, very quiet and picturesque and there are walks from the village. Access to a co-op within walking distance was very handy.

Thanks for the positive feedback; noted your comment regarding the full-size cafetière which we will remedy. Property Owner
