    Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location, so many lovely pubs and cafes all in walking distance , fabulous walks on the doorstep, cottage was immaculate and beds super cosy , only one recommendation to owners would be to invest in a nice seating eating area for the terrace outside the kitchen as only 2 comfy chairs provided and these had to be moved from top of garden , we had an amazing time and can't wait too come back , thank you

  • "We had a lovely time here."

    The cottage is very clean and cosy, with lots of amenities. It’s a very good base for this side of The Cotswolds. The phone call from Dave, the night before we arrived, was very helpful. I would certainly recommend this cottage. It was also nice to have the off road parking at the rear.

  • "A nicely presented and well equipped cottage with private, as well as on street parking and situated in the lovely village of Winchcombe."

    Lower Pack Horse cottage is just a brief walk away from several pubs, coffee shops and restaurants as well as a small supermarket and chemist. There is a terraced garden at the back of the property offering sunny and sheltered areas where if the weather is pleasant one can sit and relax. There are many interesting walks in the area and Sudeley Castle, a short walk away, offers a most interesting visit having entertained such historical figures as Henry VIII, Catherine Parr and Thomas Seymour. Catherine Parr’s tomb is to be found in the Chapel at Sudeley. The owner has created a lovely home from home and the only downside would be for those less fleet of foot as there are several changes of level within the property. We loved Lower Pack Horse cottage and found it very convenient for visiting other places of interest, Broadway, Hidcote Manor Gardens, and Snowshill just a short drive away.

  • "Lovely Cottage, and everything that you could possibly need or require was there."

    Location was perfect and with a parking space provided as well. Lovely extra touch as well with call from Dave (owner) giving me information of not only about the Cottage, but suggestions of local pubs, shops & Cafes in the locality, which are highly recommended.   • "Lovely property and town and would highly recommend."

    The property exceeded our expectations. Great location, lovely furnishings and extremely comfortable. The property was lovely and warm and the heating was extremely responsive if you needed a boost. Bedrooms were nice size and the shower was great with plenty of hot water. Nothing we didn’t like.

  • "We have had an excellent week; the cottage is very spacious, comfortable, exceptionally well-equipped, and beautifully decorated."

    Our stay was a family one, including my two daughters, my wife, and myself, and all four of us felt completely at home. Silvana contacted me before our arrival and provided high-quality information, as well as clarifying my questions. During our stay, I requested a few minor items that she promptly provided through the property manager. Everything was excellent and is highly recommended.

  • "An excellent holiday cottage in a great location with off street parking."

    The cottage has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard, is well equipped and provides a very comfortable stay. Winchcombe is a lovely town with great amenities and an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend.

  • "A great property, very comfortable with nice outdoor space as well ."

    Location is excellent with all the amenities you need close by . We did manage to get 2 cars on the drive at the rear, although parking on the road is fine. There are quite a few steps in the property so if have mobility issues would not be suitable . Great communication with the host , would definitely recommend and would love to return . Thank you for a great stay .

  • "A lovely spacious cottage which was comfortable and stylish."

    .one of the best I have rented from Sykes. I was worried it would be noisy as it is on the main road but the house is so tranquil and quiet with a very pleasant garden. Winchcombe is a super little town with all the facilities you would need. The lady who cleans the property is very friendly and helpful and sorted out a small issue for us very efficiently. I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful place. Derek

  • "Beautiful property in a gorgeous small town."

    Our only 2 (very minor) niggles were that we missed having a microwave and would have loved to have had a wall clock. Would definitely stay again though.

  • "A perfect house for a stay in the Cotswolds."

    The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, well furnished, well equipped (perhaps add a microwave). It is also well located with excellent local walks, good restaurants, cafes and shops locally and the whole of the Cotswolds there to be explored and enjoyed. We found it a perfect retreat for which a week was too short a stay.

  • "A fabulous cottage that catered really well for our 5 night stay here."

    Great communication from the owner prior to.our stay. The facilities were excellent and great that we had been left the essentials ( washing up liquid/ dishwasher tablets and washing tablets) It's a beautiful cottage and was well placed to the town. Had no trouble parking outside. A 5 minute walk to Sudeley Castle. Great food at the Lion Inn. A 10 minute drive to Broadway and the Swan here does lovely food too. We are looking forward to returning soon to Lower Pack Cottage. Thank you for a great stay

  • "An excellent stay and the cottage was bigger than we expected (huge for two of us)."

    Lovely garden and very helpful owner with the little items left there to get started (washing up liquid etc). The pub a couple of doors away is closed down but not far to the next one. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • "Beautifully presented cottage and very clean!"

    Fantastic location, easy to walk to local shops/pubs. Good communication from the owner prior to our stay, and a detailed booklet in the property about the cottage/local area. We have an electric car and made use of the kerbside chargers about a 5 minute walk up the road. We had no issues parking outside the cottage but there is a drive at the back as an option. The bed in the master bedroom is very firm (which I found uncomfortable but I realise this is personal preference!) and the wifi doesn't reach the master bedroom. A wonderful stay, we would recommend!
