There is a variety of space for watching birds (we loved the goslings...); fishing; strolling; resting; reading and doing nothing in particular. There are lots of good walks in the area and interesting local towns. We look forward to going again at some time!

The location is truly amazing with sweeping views across the three lakes. It is so quiet and peaceful, there wasn't a day go by where we didn't felt lucky to have found such a beautiful location. The apartment comes fully furnished, with all modern and required facilities. (I loved the walk-in shower!). If you are staying here and enjoy touring, do try Ludlow, Bewdley, Malvern and Broadway. All worth a visit.

Hello Folks, thank you so much for wonderful comments, my job is to make your experiences the best ever, as I can, but guests like you make it so easy and I enjoy to get to know you along the way. Take care until the next time. Property Owner

From the moment we arrived being warmly greeted by Jac the owner we knew we were in for a great time. The apartment has everything that you need, really comfy bed, great shower and the view of the garden is so relaxing. The apartment is ideally situated for visiting a variety of places, Stourport, Bewdley, Worcester and the Severn Valley Railway to name a few. We enjoyed exploring the vast garden and had a visit every night from Millie the dog, usually around teatime! All in all a great week, you won't be disappointed if you book this lovely apartment.

  • "We had a lovely stay at the Stilehouse Apartment."

The owner was very welcoming and friendly throughout (but not intrusive). The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with lovely views across the garden and the countryside beyond. We used the BBQ and outside area when the weather allowed. Every morning we'd lie in bed and watch the Olympics on the large TV. There's plenty to do in the surrounding areas (walks, National Trust properties, lovely towns & villages, canoeing on the Severn, etc.). Highly recommended.

We travelled to Stilehouse Apartment for our mini moon having done lots of research into places to stay in the wider area. We were not disappointed. We had a warm and friendly welcome. The apartment has everything you could think of and is perfectly clean and tidy. We used the BBQ almost every night. Jac was the perfect host, always around for advice and smiles and made us feel really special. So many great places to go in the area- will have to stay for longer than four days next time! We could not recommend Stilehouse enough and cannot wait to return!

I don t want to tell you all how great this place is. I don t want to say that although this is a studio apartment, there was enough room for us not to feel cramped on our full week stay. I don t want to say what lovely grounds, hosts and neighbours we had. Why don t I want to tell you this? Because we d rather keep it to ourselves. Definitely one to return to.

Didn’t meet Paul but Jackie made us so welcome. Such a warm and friendly person. Very convenient for exploring the local area (as far as this was possible of course this being 2020). It was peaceful, the facilities exceeded expectation - the owners made us feel very welcome and that us having a lovely holiday was important to them. I was very impressed. I suggest Sykes include a search filter for a "remote" setting - this was one of my main criteria when seeking a self catering getaway and it took a lot of Internet searches to find the perfect place. The listing on your site says the accommodation is near a beach - I thought that was odd when I booked, as it clearly isn't! There are plenty of stunning places to visit in the region, but actually I was always excited to go back to the Stilehouse Apartment each day, and I can't wait to unpack my bags there again.

We enjoyed our days out on the steam train, Ludlow etc, but everything is a little more difficult due to Covid 19 and It was nice to have such a lovely place to come back to for a quiet walk around the grounds or to sit on the balcony with a cuppa and book admiring the views. Would recommend to any couples looking for a bit of peace and quiet. No negatives at all for us.

The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. We cooked most days but there is a great oven fired pizza van that visits Clows Top on alternate Thursdays. The views are amazing and the hosts are friendly and very helpful. Their two dogs like to visit and are very well behaved. There are lots of interesting towns and places of interest nearby. We went on a couple of bike rides, it is very hilly! We particularly enjoyed walking in the grounds as well as the surrounding area but the highlight for us was being able to swim in one of the lakes, which we did nearly every day.

  • "We had a fantastic time at The Stilehouse."

The grounds are stunning, the location is great and there is plenty to explore via the footpaths going in and out of the grounds. It’s easy to find near a lovely little village which has a great butchers shop. A little further down the road (about a minute), there is a little farm shop which has everything you need for the week. As a bonus it has a really good selection of beer from local ales to beers from Wiper & True, Wild Beer, Brewdog and a selection of Belgian beer. The view from the cottage is really very beautiful and the grounds are well looked after. It’s nice to wake up, open the blinds and look out over the grounds while enjoying a nice breakfast! We spent a lot of time wandering around the lakes/ponds and just sitting back and watching all of the wildlife. There is lots of seating all around the grounds if you want to just sit back and enjoy a good book in the sun, or there are routes out of the grounds if you fancy a nice walk. Every day we’d get a little visit from Alfie and Milly, their dogs. Both are lovely and very happy when they get a little extra fuss in their day! They’re also just as happy to see you and wander off if you’re busy. My wife is 6 months pregnant and she had no trouble at all getting around. With it being before the lockdown, Jackie was very accomodating in doing a little extra cleaning to alleviate any concerns we might have. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing week. Thanks to Jackie and Paul for a lovely stay, your cottage and grounds are all very beautiful and we’ll definitely be back with the little one probably later next year.
