  • "We had a very relaxing stay at Evergreen."

    The cottage was just a short walk from all of the pubs and cafes in beautiful Broadway & tucked away in a quiet road away from noise. Lovely and clean, off street parking & an excellent place to stay for exploring. It was a bit rainy when we went but the garden & summer house looked like they would be fabulous to help unwind on a sunny day with a glass of wine.

    You are right. The summerhouse is a joy at any time of year as it has electricity for lighting, music and the Honnister Slate Quarry water feature. So pleased you had a lovely holiday despite the weather. Property Owner

  • "Loved this delightful bungalow although it was quite busy for a holiday let but this made it homely."

    (I would advise that the small table in the hall is removed as we both nearly tripped over it a few times. ) The property was very clean. I think that everyone needs to be aware that it has a high bath, so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is a stretch to get in it to use the shower. It is an easy 12 minute walk to Broadway High Street. Broadway itself is lovely with lots of good shops and places to eat. We were however disappointed that it was the first self catering place that we have been to that has not left a small goodie hamper. We had to go and fetch some milk before we could have a cup of tea. We would return though.

    Thank you for alerting me to the issue with the table in the hall which I shall remove this week. The shower is over the bath, which is a normal size so apart from emphasising that it is over the bath, there is not much I can do about this. The shower door opens both inward and outward so there is the opportunity of moving it out of the way. I will look at supplying UHT milk along with the tea, coffee (instant and pods for the coffee machine) and sugar that I already supply. I can’t expect my cleaner to go out and buy fresh milk every changeover, as she is so hard pressed keeping up with the housekeeping tasks during the busy summer season. Pleased that you liked the cottage overall, though. Property Owner

  • "Lovely property, especially the garden!"

    Comfortable and well presented. Shame nowhere to hang washing though, either inside or out. No washing machine either. Super location , short walk into Broadway.

    Thank you for the feedback. As you saw, the choice is between a dishwasher and washing machine as the kitchen is not large enough to accommodate both. We will get a cloths dryer and if folk can hand wash, they can hang the laundry outside. Property Owner

    An ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds. The information provided by the owners prior to our stay was great. We would highly recommend Evergreen and would certainly use again when we return to the Cotswolds.

  • "Very comfortable, clean and well equipped bungalow."

    I felt very at home there. The garden was lovely. Excellent location for many attractions and walks close to Broadway. The bungalow is conveniently located 5 mins from the local bus stop and also a quick walk to the main shops in Broadway. Would certainly recommend staying there.

  • "Evergreen was an excellent base for our holiday to the Cotswolds."

    It was within easy walking distance of the facilities within Broadway and had everything to make our time there comfortable and pleasurable. The information provided in advance by the owner was perfect and helped us settle in very quickly. The property was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed (including a teapot) - we also loved the Quooker! The garden was delightful and allowed us to have a lovely al fresco meal one evening! We sincerely hope that this is not the last time that we stay at Evergreen!

  • "A charming, eccentric bungalow within walking distance of Broadway’s high street."

    We didn’t use the dishwasher, coffee maker, or the Quooker. There should be a warning about the bath for older guests, as it is very difficult to get in and out of because it is more than two feet off the floor. It needs a step.

  • "We have had a wonderful week at Evergreen bungalow in Broadway."

    It is very well situated within walking distance to the High Street. It felt very homely and was extremely well appointed throughout. The front and back gardens were particularly pretty with Spring flowers, the back garden has a perfect aspect to enjoy all day sun and a summerhouse to retreat to if needed. Lindsay was very communicative after I had made the booking, providing lots of further information about the bungalow and was available by phone / email if needed which was very reassuring. I would not hesitate to recommend Evergreen and we will indeed look forward to our next stay.

  • "Stayed at Evergreen for four nights with my partner and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute."

    The property was impeccably clean on arrival, homely, and catered to all our needs. We found the street nice and quiet, and in a great location - being a mere 5-10 minute stroll from Broadway High Street. Communication with the owners before and after the stay was fantastic too, being made to feel welcome, and encouraged to contact them if needed. Would certainly recommend, and plan on returning next year.
