FARNBOROUGH

The village of Farnborough is situated in Warwickshire, close to the borders with Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, 6 miles North of Banbury. It is perfectly situated for days out to idyllic cotswold villages, such as Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow on the Wold, but also within easy reach of Birmingham and the NEC, and all they have to offer. Just 20 miles from the village of Meriden, historically known as the centre of England, there’s endless things to see and do: Blenheim Palace (22 miles), Bicester shopping village (21 miles), Bletchley Park (28 miles), castles galore, and of course the now famous Clarkson’s farm (25 miles). Of course this area can’t forget it’s close proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Silverstone Circuit, and Warwick, all definitely worth a visit. But the main thing that Farnborough itself has to offer, and in particular Owl Barn, is the big, dark skies, beautiful countryside, flora and fauna, access to the canal network, and walks through stunning countryside.
