  • "Very comfortable and welcoming cottage in a great location."

The touch of a box of chocolates from the owners was a lovely gesture. The garden, the bathroom facilities, the (fake) plants throughout the house, everything has been looked at and thought through to make sure guests are going to enjoy their stay. My only suggestion to improve things would be to ensure that there is a bedside lamp in the third bedroom and that an extension lead is run to bedside lamp nearest the bedroom door in the front double. At the moment there is nowhere to plug it in.

  • "Lovely welcoming house with a delightful garden, in a quiet location yet a short stroll along the canal to the town centre."

Extremely well fitted out, particularly the kitchen with good quality equipment. Beds very comfortable and the whole place was spotless. The owner was very helpful in sorting out some small technical issues when we arrived and helped make the stay very pleasurable. There were six of us, including two small grandchildren, and the house met all our needs and was safe and friendly for the little ones to relax in. An enjoyable stay in a house which we would highly recommend.
