  • "Fox Cottage is a perfect break for a couple."

We had such a warm friendly welcome and everything was very clean and well equipped. Great location as loads of places to visit nearby. It was so lovely to find dog treats, milk, butter, jam and fresh eggs from the chickens when we arrived! Tracie and Mike were a great help with their knowledge of the area and tips on places to go and local pubs. They are the perfect hosts and we would love to go back! Thank you both so much!

  • "An excellent little holiday hide away and dog friendly too."

Some great walks locally and a farm cafe down the road with lovely cakes and dog friendly too. So many lovely little touches in the property including toiletries, jams, cakes, eggs and so much more. We felt very spoilt. The owners were so lovely and friendly and really thoughtful in providing extra bedding when my daughter joined me. A great place to stay.

Everywhere felt fresh and clean and the owner's thoughtful gift of fresh eggs and a token for the milk machine from the local farm shop was a lovely touch.

  • "The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating."

They gave us lots of great tips. The most important thing for us was how wonderful they are about dogs. We have an 11 month old labradoodle who is still learning how to behave in strange places but tracie put our mind at rest and the cottage is truly dog friendly even down to tracie filling a paddling pool for our pup to go in during the very hot weather. This is a gem of a place which we can't recommend highly enough.

  • "Really nice break."

The owners are very friendly - as is their cat. Very comfortable bed and lovely, good quality bed linen and towels. Excellent hot shower. I can't think of anything that we didn't have available in the cottage. Some nice walks nearby and Churchfields farm (about 10 mins. stroll away) looked really good for food etc but unfortunately it was closed during our stay. Very quiet location.
