  • "We stayed at Crook Barn in the first week of September for 5 nights."

The reason that this property caught our eye was because of the balcony bedroom and the bath! The fact that it is dog friendly, has an EV charger and a multi fuel stove sealed the deal for us. The views that you enjoy are lovely and the opportunity to hear a myriad of wildlife is a balm to this urban dweller's ears. Of an evening we enjoyed the calls of a tawny owl and in the morning we were greeted by a cockerel. You can tell that this property is a labour of love; from the tasteful furnishings to the thoughtful additions of mobility aids in the downstairs bathroom. After visiting Queenswood Arboretum, Kyre Park and Tenbury Wells we would spend a relaxing evening under soft lighting with a fire lit and the night sky glittering with stars that we just don't get to enjoy in our home town. If we were in the habit of returning to properties we visit through Sykes, this would be top of our list.

  • "Stunning barn with lots of original woodwork."

took 5 kids and 2 fur babies who had a lovely time exploring outside. Had everything we needed, even a non mentioned washing machine. Think the property has just recently been finished renovating, there is still a bit of work being finished on neighbouring properties. Host was lovely and replied promptly after an issue with the hot water and came and fixed it himself.
