"This is truly one of the best properties we've had the pleasure of staying in and our break was nothing short of perfect!"
The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was also a lovely touch! The location was fantastic, with plenty of country trails to walk the dog, as well as local supermarkets, shops and pubs. We couldn't recommend this holiday property more and would definitely stay again!
-
"Great stay."
Lovely accommodation. Everything what’s needed is supplied. Kate really helpful and available when asked. Matt nothing too much. Can’t fault. Recommended.
-
"Lovely cottage."
Stayed over New Year and was nice to have the Xmas tree still up. Cozy with the fire effect and lighting. Great location, we did the bridges walk around Pershore, went over to the Malvern Hills, into Worcester and Stratford on Avon. On our last day popped to Croome House ( National Trust ) just up the road. Creaky floor boards would be our only criticism but wouldn’t stop us booking again. Would definitely recommend it.
-
"This is a very clean, cosy cottage in a great location in a quiet residential area that is very close to Pershore high street."
The owners were very accommodating to us and we felt very welcome. I'd recommend this to people considering staying in Pershore although it is at the top of quite a steep hill which could potentially be a struggle for elderly or infirm to climb.
-
"A lovely cottage in a peaceful area."
Loved our stay. Clean, comfortable and warm. Felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Ideal location for so many places, we visited Worcester Abbey, several National Trust properties, Pershore Abbey, Broadway & Snowshill, where Bridget Jones' parents house was filmed.
-
"Superb property, beautifully furnished."
Very dog friendly. Have visited twice and will def return again.

"We had the most wonderful stay at 3 Mount Pleasant Barns cottage."
The bedrooms were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There was one bathroom upstairs and a downstairs toilet which was very handy for 5 people. The area itself was quiet and had lovely walks straight from the doorstep. Kate and Matt left a lot of information in the house that was so helpful in planning our days out. There was a basket of welcome gift too for us which was a lovely surprise (thank you!). Our children loved playing outside and had the best time but it was a little stressful letting them in the bigger area of the garden as it was not enclosed, and the neighbourhood was mentioned to be a quiet area. It was a bit tricky to do a bath for the children without going in the bath ourselves since the shower screen didn't open outwards. There is also no washing machine in the cottage. We would suggest making all these information more transparent in the Sykes website upon booking, especially as the booking is non refundable. Regardless, we loved our stay in this beautiful cottage and would recommend it to everyone!
-
"We had such a wonderful, peaceful stay at Mount Plessant."
The cottage is very clean and well equipped. We loved that it was dog friendly so that we could bring our dog with us and she enjoyed the walks in the local area. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here- and the welcome basket was a lovely added tread! Thank you

"We have enjoyed our stay at Mount Pleasant."
Everything was perfect. The house, the neighbourhood, the environment (close to the town). Very relaxing to stay there. Also thank you for the welcome package, that's a very nice gesture. Also a good place to start several daytrips. It's a pity we didn't see the owners to thank them in person because they were on holiday.

"We had a great time."
A really relaxing weekend with our 2 little ones, along with my mum and her husband. The property was very comfotable and the interior really well-kept and well-presented, with great facilities. A lovely location, situated high up overlooking Pershore town. We loved the garden area out the front, which made for a great break-out space for the kids. It also backs onto a huge area of fields and crops, with a nice footpath through to adjacent fields, if one fancys a quick country stroll! Only thing to note, particulalry if you have very small and wakeful kids as we did, the floor-boards upstairs are extremely creaky in most areas and could be heard from anywhere in the property. We weren't too fussed by this though, as we were moe than happy with everything else!
-
"My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the cottage."
Lovely & peaceful with gorgeous views. Really appreciated the fantastic welcome basket & Evie loved the dog treats too. The only small maintenance that needs sorting is the squeaky landing floorboards, if anyone goes to the bathroom in the night it did disturb the rest of the house.

"We had a great weekend at 3 Mount Pleasant!"
The property was everything we expected and more. Clean, comfortable and uncluttered. Perfect size for our family of 5 adults. The extra touch of a welcome package was greatly appreciated. We had a lovely picnic lunch in the beautifully kept garden. Lovely views and very peaceful surroundings. We visited the Real flower Confetti Fields and the town of Pershore was great too. I wish we’d had a couple more days in the house to explore the surrounding area. Would definitely revisit this property again.

"It was a wonderful time in a unique accommodation."
Clean, great furnishings and equipment. Everything went smoothly and we received many attentions such as cake, tea, butter, milk, etc. Thank you for the nice time!!
-
"We had a fabulous stay."
The cottage was very well equipped and had a cosy feel to it and its location means there is a lot to do. We felt like we were in the countryside but were also within walking distance to Pershore. Would love to visit again.
-
"Great hosts, left a beautiful welcome basket, home was ideal for us as a family of 4 great facilities and locality."
It was our second visit will we back.
-
"We had a great few days @ Mount Pleasant enjoying the surrounding areas with our Labrador."
A lovely welcome pack awaited us when we arrived & the cottage had all the amenities needed to compliment our stay. Thanks once again for posting on the item we left behind and Nala thanks you for the doggie treats left for her. Well recommended
-
"As dog owners the proximity to a large open field much used by dog walkers was very good."
-
"Please can you amend the address on all your details to 3 Mount Pleasant Barns?"
3 Mount Pleasant is another address completely, nearly proved very embarrassing!! Accommodation great superb setting very convenient for lots of great days out
-
"Beautiful property, immaculate condition."
Lovely garden and lovely neighbours! Will definitely return
-
"Loved staying at the cottage."
However we were disappointed that the hoover had been left full so we were unable to complete the request to hoover when we left. I so hope that this will not go against us. Loved the area and the fact that it was so quiet. Lovely welcome pack many thanks.
-
"We really enjoyed our stay and the property."
The only remark regarding the comfort we have is the cracking wooden first floor which makes a lot of noice when people walk around. With 4 adults walking around is this disturbing.
-
"We had a lovely time!"
A really comfortable and peaceful place to stay
-
"We had such an amazing time at this property, the house is the perfect size for 5 people and very well maintained, the location is great and the views from the garden are beautiful, only comment I have is it would be nice to have scissors in the kitchen, other than that, would gladly go back again any time!"
-
"Perfect location for the dog with easy access to walks."
Owners had put temporary fence in front garden so securing it for early morning and late night wees for the dog. Easy walking down into the centre of Pershore. Lots of dog friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants.
-
"We really enjoyed our stay."
Lovely and clean. All amenities available but one of our party would have liked a washing machine. Great place to stay and owners were brilliant, leaving bread, milk etc, on arrival. Excellent.
-
"As seen in images, it was perfect for a family stay."
The cottage has been very well looked after, very clean and cosy. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you
-
"Our stay was lovely the cottage was clean and all the things you needed was available."
We walked into a welcome basket very thoughtful of Kate and Matt. We had beautiful time the cottage is absolutely gorgeous set in a very quiet place with lovely views. Would definately stay again highly recommend.
-
"Absolutely spotless property."
Had all of the ameneties that you could ever need, the welcome basket was amazing! Beautiful location and such friendly neighbours. The book with all of the holiday info in was thorough but not over the top, easy to use equipment and everything was like new.Great place and obvious how much work has been put in to making it warm and friendly.
-
"Really enjoyed our stay here."
There were 4 adults and a small dog. The accommodation was great, and there was a lot of outdoor walks to do. Would recommend for adults, unless children enjoy the walks etc. Lots of local pubs to enjoy after the walks. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.
-
"Excellent"

"Beautiful cottage in a tranquil and scenic spot."
The owners were easy to contact and very helpful and the house was clean and well equipped. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage but it is perhaps better suited for adults and families with older children. We have a one year old and a three year old and the cream carpet was a worry! We brought a waterproof sheet to put under the dining table but I was still concerned about rogue food missing the mat - it was fine in the end but it made me appreciate our easy to wipe dining floor at home! The bathroom is lovely but the inward opening shower door and large beam makes it tricky to bath young children. The floorboards are very creaky and we woke frequently, concerned our oldest was up but it was just the neighbours moving around. We would have also preferred a washing machine (probably over a dishwasher). We didn't think about any of these things when booking as it was our first family holiday - they are small issues that are probably only a concern for young families and overall we had a wonderful stay. Thanks for being great hosts Kate & Matt!
-
"This is a lovely little cottage with ample room for two."
Comfortable, cosy, with good facilities, easy access and parking. The view from the site is stunning and on a warm summer evening sitting outside watching the sun fade away was heaven. The welcome pack was a lovely treat and much appreciated. The owners were easy to contact if needed and very friendly. Don't hesitate for one moment about booking this cottage it is perfect for staying and exploring this part of the Midlands.
-
"Beautiful peaceful location."
Clean updated cottage throughout. The owners were very kind, welocoming and accommodating when we needed stuff. Very nice neighbours. Would definitely be happy to go back. With a washer and dryer would be perfect. Laundromat on High St is expensive and left clothes with overbearing smell. The.walks in that area are super.
-
"The cottage was just as described."
It was exceptionally clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome pack was truly wonderful. We would stay there again if we were going to that area.
-
"A lovely stay, thank you, Kate and Matt."
We were impressed with the communication especially as we were delayed in arriving by a day. Very reassuring. Thanks for the welcome basket. The house was very clean and everything you could want if you wanted to cook. We are bath lovers so the only draw back for us was that you can't really wallow in the bath, but the shower was excellent. The house is well situated for exploring the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds, and the views from the front and the main bedroom are fabulous!
-
"Owners Kate and Matt spectacularly helpful."
Locations superb with wonderful views from the garden. Short walk into town with lots of restaurants and places to eat.
-
"Fantastic little find in a brilliant location."
We thoroughly enjoyed driving up the hill to find such peace and tranquility, which is easy walking distance from all the facilities of the lovely town of Pershore. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of information about the cottage and the local area available, and Kate was very helpful with queries. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in the area.
-
"Beautiful place to stay for a quiet retreat with tourist spots in every direction to explore."
Kate & Matt provide everything including a fantastic welcome pack. My family and I had a great time.
-
"We really enjoyed our stay at this property."
It was very comfortable and cosy and in a great location. Kate and Matt were very accommodating and hospitable especially after we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cottage within 5 mins of arriving and they made sure we were safe and well after three storms blew through the area. We especially loved the welcome basket full of local goodies.
-
"Everything beautifully presented but would have liked a bit more crockery and glasses."
The property could not really be faulted. The outside space and car parking excellent.
-
"Absolutely beautiful cottage."
Furnished to a high standard and lovely and clean. Owners on hand with any questions. Best cottage I have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend.
-
"Beautiful little cottage in a tranquil location, within walking distance of Pershore town."
Ideally situated for visiting pretty villages in the area and has a variety of restaurants and takeaways, The owners had thought of everything when setting it up for rental, there is no need to take anything from home. Would highly recommend a visit.
-
"The Cottage address is incorrect making it difficult to find it should be 3 mount pleasant BARNS this is important as people are continually going to the wrong place."
Despite a note on the fridge door warning us that the bed legs were sharp because of the small bedrooms we all caught are toes on these at some point, in fact my son ended up with a cut and badly bruised toe making walking uncomfortable.
-
"Full marks on all counts!"
Loads of information about the cottage and area emailed to us before we went, the house was immaculate and very clean which is reassuring at the moment - perfect for our party of four adults plus our dog: child gate on the stairs, temporary fencing in the garden to make it dog or child escape-proof. The bathroom is well-laid out - a review had mentioned it was a small room and awkward to get into the shower - no problems for any of us including my 89 year old mum. A bonus of a downstairs cloakroom which we hadn't realised was there when we booked. Great location with a lovely walk through the fields literally just over the fence and the town a gentle 15 minute stroll away. Pershore is a beautiful town with friendly shops and restaurants. A week was not long enough to see all we would have liked - I think we may have to revisit. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely house to anybody
-
"Amazing cottage."
Exceeded expectations in all areas. Would not hesitate to return.
-
"Lovely cottage tucked away in a great location."
Great for dogs as there is a field directly opposite for walks and pershore town just a 15minute walk away. So much to do in nearby towns would recommend Evesham railway and the Aztec water park.
-
"Perfect cottage in a prime location with a short walk into town."
-
"Cottages very comfortable and clean."
Bathroom small but well laid out . Lovely outdoor space, very peaceful with views over fields. Shops within walking distance. Would have liked a teapot! Owners very helpful and gave link to flower fields to visit.
-
"Enclosed garden advertised but on arrival this was not the case."
It is a large communal area with unsecured fencing for any pet to get through. It would be a lot better if there was a picket fence for the front garden of the property which will then resolve this issue.
-
"Lovely little cottage with views of the surrounding fields."
The garden is not exactly private, a little overlooked. Good size cottage for a small family or two couples. Great location for exploring the area with many interesting places only a short drive away.
