  • "Myself, partner and friend stayed at The Stables for a weekend for a Christmas break together and to visit the Victorian Christmas market ."

The cottage was perfect for this . There was ample parking for our two cars and the cottage was warm and welcoming as you enter the large airy room with high ceiling . Stunning . There was a welcome tray and fresh flowers too ! The large bedrooms are quite separate with a shower room to one and the master has an en-suite . All has beautiful decor and very clean . It’s only a short walk to city centre with lots of shops and also the huge Christmas market which we loved . It is also near to the river which even on a wet day is beautiful and we saw lots of swans . This cottage was perfect for our needs . Loved it !

Dear Louise Thank you for choosing the stables for your Christmas break. We are so pleased you had a pleasant stay. And many thanks, for the lovely feedback, we look forward to seeing you again. Kind regards Jasmine Property Owner

It’s very comfortable with excellent facilities. The location is within a short walk of the City and close to many and varied restaurants, the Cathedral, the river Severn, the race course and county cricket ground. Off street parking was provided behind two large gates. The owners are lovely people and provided a welcome pack including tea, coffee and biscuits. Would highly recommend The Stables.

  • "Brilliant stay home from home."

Jasmine was lovely lady thought of everything. We had a problem with the heating next thing her husband turned up and sorted it. They both should be proud of what they have done with this property . Lovely restaurant next to race course we was lucky the races was on last week so got to go. Definitely will be back.

  • "The cottage is in a quiet location close to the city, museums, river, racecourse and Parkrun."

An ideal location for touring the area with enclosed off road parking for 2 cars which was great as the parking on the side streets is restricted. A lovely welcome pack was provided and Jasmine and Mali were on hand if needed. The coffee machine is Nespresso Virtuo so make sure you take the correct pods!
