  • "Huge detached house , set back from the road with a large secure garden for our dogs ."

Very spacious inside and , a few years ago , would have been beautiful inside . Drumlaney is in need of some tlc to bring it back to its best . The sofas in the sitting room are well past their best and should be removed , many of the walls are scuffed and marked and in need of a repaint to freshen them up . Cleanliness on the face of it was good but could definitely be better when you started looking . Cracked floor tiles and wall lamps that were not finished also let the place down . Our 2 dogs loved the space but were driven mad by the deluge of flies that were always in the house - you know there is a fly problem when you see fly spray , a fly swat and fly paper in the kitchen !! The en-suite in the master bedroom needs a mirror and the shower door refitting so it slides . It’s just lots of small things that add up to a property that is unfortunately below where it should be . The communications with the owner ,however , were top notch and were there whenever we needed them ……Would we go back ? Sadly no ….

  • "Myself and my family had a lovely stay at Drumlaney."

The property was very clean and comfortable for a large group while also allowing us to bring along our dog who is part of the family. We had some nice walks around castle saunderson and Belturbet. Stopping into the castle pub for a lovely lunch with our dog allowed inside too. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future. The host was very friendly also.

Close by there is a lovely lake across the road which is a nice place to walk around, also the grounds around Castlesaunderson is a beautiful quiet place for a wander and is dog friendly, we where lucky enough to have a deer cross our path on one of the mornings.
