  • "Paddy was very welcoming and the fire was lit for us arriving."

The house had everything we needed for our holiday. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Only cause for concern was we couldn't see any carbon monoxide alarm or fire alarm. Fire blanket and extinguisher were provided.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at Doneen for 3 nights."

The house was big and plenty of space even though there was 12 of us. The hose was very friendly and helpful with many recommendations for places to eat and visit. The property is ideally located just within a 30min drive of everywhere we wanted to visit. Large garden to the front for the kids to play (just be careful if playing with a ball not to kick it into the neighbours. On returning home I noticed I had left 3 items of clothing in the wardrobe and the owner had no hesitation whatsoever posting them back.Overall a 5 Star Stay and would definatley visit again.

All the little things have been thought of like a trolly token on the keys, board games on site also fresh bread, milk fruit and lots more left for you on arrival. Would definitely stay again and the views are beautiful!

  • "From the moment we drove into the property to the moment we left Padraig could not have been more helpful and accommodating."

He even lit the fire for us returning from our outing on a stormy day so that we would have a cheerful homecoming. The setting of the property is idyllic if somewhat seemingly isolated as you arrive but Padraig’s knowledge of the area soon had us feeling we knew the area intimately. There is plenty to do and much to see of interest.
