  • "We had a lovely week at High View."

It is set in a lovely location, with shops a couple of minutes walk away and the town centre is, only a few minutes further. High View has been very well kitted out with everything you would need. Ann who looks after the property very generously provided breakfast cereals, butter, eggs, milk along with her fabulous scones, to make sure you don't need to rush out shopping when you first arrive. She was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were four adults in our party and we had plenty of room to relax. There is a nice stove in the lounge with fuel provided, comfortable seating and beds, enough hot water for everybody. I would recommend it for people wishing to explore the Kenmare area

The house was perfect , Ann wentvabovecand beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. She had beautiful home made bread for us on arrival, along with fresh flowers, fruit and cereals. Toileteries were also provided, shampoo, body wash and hand wash to help cut down on luggage. House was very comfortable with 2 excellent showers. It was 5 mins walk onto town so was very convenient. I would reccommend this house for a relaxing holiday.

Needs a name (High View) on the gate posts so you can identify it from the road. We were warmly greeted by Pauline. Very comfortable and well maintained. Felt like a home.

  • "We have been to many self catering cottages in Ireland that have been a real let-down."

High View is by far and away the best we have ever encountered. Scrupulously clean. First rate facilities. A lovely view from the house. Shops only minutes away, even if you are just walking. Town centre within minutes too. The wi-fi is first rate as well. Ann, the owner is friendly helpful, and really interested in making your stay as comfortable as possible. We would highly recommend High View for a holiday, and will probably return ourselves in the future.
