The town of Creeslough in County Donegal is situated within easy reach of the wonderful Glenveagh National Park. The village is within easy access of Letterkenny, which has a museum and there's plenty of shops, pubs and places to eat. Whilst making Creeslough your base make sure that you explore as much of Glenveagh National Park as you can. A number of walks can be enjoyed in the park, after which partake in a guided tour of the castle, or enjoy tea and cakes in the tea room, whilst to the northern edge of Lough Beagh is a visitor centre housing a restaurant. There are a number of hills in the area, which once you’ve climbed or walked up boast superb views of the Atlantic Ocean from the top, and there’s also rivers, loughs, historical and religious sites in abundance throughout this part of County Donegal. Also in the area are a variety of beaches, whilst further afield is Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland, and across the border is the city of Derry.
