  • "We had such a wonderful stay, the accommodation and location is stunning."

Our Host Chris was so accommodating and on hand to assist us with anything we needed. Being able to take our dogs was such a huge bonus for us and we found a lovely local dog sitter to take care of them on the days we wanted to go out for the day sight seeing with the children. We all had such a well needed break away and can't wait to return later in the year.

  • "Excellent Choice."

High Church Hill is Roomy, Clean. Views are amazing. Great for country side walks, or Coast is 40 Mins Away. And Durham is 10 mins.

  • "High Church Hill is a wonderful place to stay."

It’s well-equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely family weekend exploring the area, feeding the alpacas and of course lazing in the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

  • "Large, spacious stunning home from home."

3 double bedrooms all en suite and also toilet downstairs. This place had everything we needed, owners are on site and there if you need anything at all. Chris was particularly helpful to us. Beautiful views and large garden with brilliant hot tub. Horses, alpacas and chickens just across from the garden. Plenty space for multiple cars. 5 mins drive from Durham. This place is truly stunning and I'm sure we will be back!

  • "Great place to stay."

Very central for exploring. Lovely and quiet with some nice local walks as well as the pub. The house was great. Very lush and we enjoyed the open plan style. The only negative was the noisy floor upstairs which can’t be helped I know.

  • "This property is fabulous, we loved it."

In fact, I would say it’s better in real life than what it looks like on line. The showers are great, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen/lounge was excellent. Thanks for a great few days, can’t wait to visit again.
