  • "Rocklands House provides excellent accommodation, including ensuite shower/bathrooms with all four bedrooms."

    The property is fully accessible - something we particularly appreciated for our daughter who is a wheelchair user. It is set in beautiful countryside close to the spectacular Gap of Dunloe and within a short drive of Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. We were also given a warm welcome and helpful advice from the owner, Anne, who lives close by. We can highly recommend this property.

  • "Our stay in Rocklands house was a joy from start to finish."

    The house was exceedingly comfortable, well situated for exploring Kerry in all its beauty while Anne, the owner could not have been more helpful. We dined out each day of our week’s stay and always the food and service was excellent. I highly recommend the house and the area.

  • "We had an amazing stay and determined that this house was the best area to day trip out of."

    We can’t wait to go back! Very well apportioned house with the best part being a drip coffee maker and parking. The only side note is that the directions to the house weren’t accurate for the direction we came from. That was our fault because we changed our trip. Make sure to use the coordinates that they send for seamless directions on your Waze app.

  • "Perfect property for a family with teenagers or young children."

    Lots of space for everyone, presented beautifully, stunning scenery. Anne, the owner, was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The house is in an excellent location near Killarney National Park with lots of options for walks to suit everyone's abilities. The Gap of Dunloe, the Ring of Kerry and the highest mountain in Ireland all close by. Lots of places to eat in Killarney or supermarkets to buy supplies. We had an excellent holiday, thank you

  • "What a fantastic holiday home!"

    The house was like a home from home, the attention to detail and the personal touches were perfect. Anne was a wonderful host and had left a lovely welcome basket with local produce which was greatly appreciated after our long drive, she was only a phone call away if we ever needed anything and had a wealth of local knowledge. Although we didn’t need accessible accommodation I did find that Rocklands did offer this with two downstairs bedrooms and a wet room. The enclosed, secure garden was also a plus for us as we had a lively grandson with us who loved being outdoors. I do hope we get the opportunity to stay again at Rocklands House as it was ideal for our family and the hospitality from Anne was exceptional. A first class, immaculately clean property I would highly recommend to anyone.

  • "The property was in a great location and was of a high standard."

    There were loads of helpful instructions on how to use the heating & hot water and guides to which remotes controlled the TV & cable services. It was a comfortable property and we really enjoyed our stay there and wouldn't hesitate to return

  • "Fantastic property, spacious and very homely."

    Fresh scones on arrival were a welcomed sight after a very long drive! House is very close to access to the mountains and Gap of Dunloe etc and Ann was able to advise local info about routes etc! There are a couple of good local restaurants doing a great pint of Guinness if you’d rather not make the slightly longer trip into town.

  • "We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home with a wood burning fireplace that the owner- Ann Folley- lit for us upon arrival."

    Upon our arrival, we saw that the owner had provided a basket with blueberry scones and strawberry preserves and tea bags and milk in the fridge. Had a Beautiful sunny, elevated reading room as well as a very comfortable TV room that even had international TV channels with USA TV & movies. We will definitely go back and stay at the Rocklands house.

    Theresa and her husband was just the nicest couple you could meet and to deal with , they left the house so clean and tidy and were always so polite to deal it . Hoping we will see then return soon to Hoping Property Owner

Beaufort is a small village situated in a scenic area at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks near the Gap of Dunloe. This is a great location for walking with stunning mountain views. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is situated between Killorglin and Killarney, the latter being a mecca for holidaymakers every year with its wide open countryside, beaches close at hand, annual festivals and great night life, with traditional music played in many of the pubs and bars. A host of activities are available in the area including riding, walking, cycling, golf and fishing, and guided ascents to summit of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain.
