  • "This is a gorgeous, well appointed, very comfortable house."

We had young children with us and the enclosed garden overlooked by the living area was brilliant. The children could play outside within view whilst we relaxed and or prepared dinner. The access to the beach was great. The beach itself is a bit pebbly but that didn’t stop the children having great fun. I would highly recommend this house.

  • "We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house right on the beach."

The house is very well positioned to take advantage of the views of sea and sky which change throughout the day as the sun travels from east to west. The house has everything you need for a self catering holiday with family and friends. It is modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. It is very comfortable and always warm and cosy. The jewel in the crown is the beach at the bottom of the steps leading directly from the garden - we were fortunate with the weather and swam every day. It was always very hard to leave the house but we did travel down the coast to Morriscastle and Curracloe beaches which are lovely. Gorey is great for shopping and lunch in the Cowhouse on the Courtown Road is a must - along with the fresh berries and jams for sale in the farm shop there. All in all a fabulous home from home. Definitely coming back!!

  • "We had a fantastic stay at the Beach House over Easter."

The house is fabulous, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could need. Beds were extremely comfortable, showers fantastic and my children enjoyed using the toys provided in the lovely large garden. But what this house is really about is the views and the beach! Beautiful sea views from every window, we enjoyed watching the sun rise in the morning and the moon reflecting on the sea at night. The house has steps directly down from the garden to a lovely private beach, we were so lucky to get good weather over our stay so we really enjoyed spending time here. The local area is great for exploring with lovely restaurants, activities for kids and many beaches. Elisha and Brian were wonderful hosts and responded quickly to any queries we had. This really was the best holiday property we have stayed at- either at home or abroad, and we can't wait to return. The photos really don't do it justice. I will miss falling asleep to the sound of the waves! Thank you so much Elisha and Brian for a wonderful holiday.

  • "Exceptionally comfortable, clean house with amazing views of the sea from every room."

The weather was fantastic for January. We experienced beautiful morning sunrises - with steps down to your own private beach. In the evenings we had the comfort of the wood burning stove. Co Wexford is renowned for its many white sandy beaches. Courtown has great woodland walks. Overall, a great break. It really was hard to leave this place.

. it was lovely and warm at all times and spotless. We had a special family celebration and the house was so perfect for our three generations. The views are so spectacular you do not tire of looking at the sea from every window. The Christmas Tree was such a lovely surprise for us. The owner Elisha was extremely helpful and so kind to us. The bedrooms were very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. We would highly recommend this Beach house at any time of year, we just loved our stay and we definitely plan to return.

  • "Beautiful house, very clean, comfortable and private."

Gorgeous view of the ocean with private access, just need to be cautious of the rock steps closer to the beach. The kitchen is fully equip for all your cooking needs. The couple renting the house were friendly. We’ll definitely return for another vacation. Unfortunately we were work up at 7.30am during the week day mornings because of building work on a site beside the house. This was the only downside. I highly recommend his house.

  • "Although there are steps down from the property to the beach it is not possible to access the beach due to large boulders which I understand are there due to coastal erosion."

This cant be helped but our dogs were itching to get on to the beach. However we brought them to another beach further away so all good. This is an amazing house with all the facilities you could wish for, fabulous large garden with an amazing view. The absolute best bed we have ever slept in and that includes our own. I can only imagine what it is like in summertime we loved it.

  • "Just back from a blissful week at the Beach House and we are already looking forward to our return!"

The house is gorgeous - newly built, spotlessly clean and with a fully equipped kitchen. It’s beautifully decorated and the owners have added lots of little details to make the stay more enjoyable, from a gorgeous welcome pack, to a box of kids’ beach toys to an outdoor tap to wash away the sand from the beach. The owners themselves were so warm and welcoming, from offering to carry in suitcases to being available via phone to answer any questions and make recommendations. The stunning sea views, the sound of the waves, and private access to the beach coupled with all of the above make The Beach House a little slice of heaven on earth - we can’t wait to return.

  • "The property is brand new and the owners most friendly and approachable."

I had some problems with the new gadgets and could not find a frying pan to use with the induction hob. We had a fabulous time in Wexford and look forward to next year. The only downside is the entrance to the property from the main road ,it is narrow and the surface is loose chippings and there are many potholes .
