"I was absolutely disgusted with this entire getaway."
We booked this as a nice relaxing getaway and had booked the day before. On the day of arrival, I was told that there was no booking under my name and that I was probably booked elsewhere. Reception staff claimed the property was for sale and hadn’t been booked for a while. I showed booking reference numbers and the site where we made the booking. After sending messages back and forth to management, they also could not find the booking. After 2 hours of this, the receptionist stated the booking had been located. We had booked one property; however, we received a single-story small glamping pod. I was disappointed as I had to turn down my guests for the following day. The hot tub was completely empty on the first night and the heating was non-existent. Thank God for the log burner, but apart from that we would have been freezing. The hot tub was dirty and the decking area was unkempt. The staff filled the hot tub for the second night, but it had leaked halfway through again. We wanted to spend the evening stargazing, which again could not happen. Definitely would not recommend or book again as the booking information was completely incorrect.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry for the confusion and difficulties you faced regarding your booking. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide and we completely understand why you were left feeling frustrated. We are also very sorry that the accommodation you were given did not match what you had booked. Thank you also for raising the issues with the hot tub and outdoor space. We appreciate you raising these concerns and your feedback will be taken seriously. We're truly sorry that this stay did not reflect the experience we want guests to have - we would appreciate the opportunity to make things right in the future. Property Owner
