The property

Elwy 3.0 Pet is a welcoming lodge on Bryn Morfydd Holiday Park near Llandyrnog, North Wales, with designated parking for 2 cars, open-plan living, and an enclosed decked area for easy outdoor time with your dogs.

Arrive and pull up close by, then step onto the decking where furniture and a pergola create an inviting spot for morning brews or an evening drink as the park’s wooded surroundings frame the view.

Inside, the living space is set up for shared holiday moments, with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area gathered together so everyone can stay connected, whether you’re prepping supper or unwinding by the electric fire with the Smart TV on in the background.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, including a dishwasher and fridge/freezer, making longer stays feel straightforward.

When the day winds down, choose from three bedrooms: a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, plus two twin rooms that suit friends or families sharing. Beyond the lodge, the setting lends itself to fresh-air days, with countryside views, wooded parkland, and access to walking and cycling routes to set the pace of your break.

Anglers can also make use of fishing nearby, while quieter days can be spent lingering on the decking with a book and a plan for tomorrow.

For outings, consider exploring the wider area with a trip to Denbigh for a historic day out, Ruthin for an afternoon of browsing and a bite to eat, and St Asaph to stretch your legs and soak up a change of scenery.

Whatever you choose, Elwy 3.0 Pet makes a handy base for time together on Bryn Morfydd Holiday Park.

LLANDYRNOG

Denbigh 4.4 miles; Ruthin 5.3 miles.

The pretty Welsh village of Llandyrnog lies to the east of Denbigh, north of the historic town of Ruthin, close to the Offa’s Dyke and Clwydian Way walking paths. Set in delightful rolling countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village benefits from three village pubs, two offering meals, along with a bar/restaurant, a Post Office and general store and a butcher, as well as being the home of Llandyrnog Creamery, famed for its cheese and milk production. Nearby lies the market town of Denbigh, which dates back to the 11th century and boasts the remains of a 13th century castle, perched on a steep hill above the town and commanding some superb views over the surrounding countryside. Denbigh is a busy little town, with a variety of shops and pubs, and a number of events including walking festivals, beer festivals, the Denbigh and Flint Annual Show, the Clay Art Potters Market and a monthly People's Market. Within easy reach of Denbigh are the cathedral at St Asaph, the castle at Bodelwyddan, the seaside resorts of Llandudno, Prestatyn or Colwyn Bay, and the historic city of Chester, over the border into England. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive, with its stunning lakes, mountains, walking, cycling and mountain biking with local trails in the forest, while the Llyn Peninsula and excellent beaches on the Isle of Anglesey are ideal for a day trip. Plenty to see and do at any time of the year!
