Renowned for its charming waterfront independent boutiques, award winning restaurants and stunning estuary views, and beaches within walking distance, Readymoney Cove, Polridmouth and Menabilly, where Daphne Du Maurier lived.

A little further along the coastline from Whitecross is The idyllic village of Polperro, a working harbour, old quaint pubs/restaurants.

Near to Polperro is Looe, which offers a lively seaside experience, with its sandy beaches, bustling harbour, fresh seafood restaurants and family friendly attractions.

Just a 5 minute drive away is the village of Lanreath, where there is a well equipped village store and post office, open in the mornings only and the Famous Punch Bowl Inn pub/restaurant.

The area is well known for walking and hiking, there is the Hall Walk, on the south coast, from Bodinnick to Polperro with magnificent views of Lantic Bay.
