  • "I don’t usually leave a lot of feedback but this apartment is lovely with a modern decoration it is a very comfortable place to stay."

    It was nice to arrive to a very clean and tidy accommodation. I have stayed in quite a few apartments in Dartmouth but not as good as this one. We have had a great 2, week holiday. I highly recommend 39 Dart Marina. I have already booked again!

  • "We were very happy with 39 Dart Marina."

    The flat was clean, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we required. We especially enjoyed the view from the dining table out to the estuary. It was great having a lift to get our luggage in and out. We would happily stay again if visiting Dartmouth.

  • "Lovely apartment in excellent location at Dart Marina."

    Easy walk into town but nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. Well furnished and maintained property, ideal for couples. Loved being next to the Dart Marina hotel, enjoyed drinks at their Cloud 9 pop up bar, watching the steam trains, and boats going up and down the river, whilst enjoying a glass of something chilled.

  • "We try to visit Dartmouth every year and have been doing so for over 10 years."

    We had been looking for accommodation that best suits are need in order to be able to repeat book if possible. We enjoyed our stay in #39, it was clean, tidy and well presented and probably the best location in Dartmouth for us. Unfortunately, the only reason we considered to rate it with four stars and not five is because of the extremely uncomfortable sofa/chairs suite. The cushions in both chairs and the sofa are completely worn out and proved uncomfortable to rest in for to long. It was a disappointment as we tend to look forward to our days away to just rest up with a good book, which was not really possible at this time because of the lounge suite condition. However, that said the rest of the apartment was excellent an in particular we found the beds to be the most comfortable we have ever experienced. We would also like to extend a big thank you to the Sykes/Coast and County facilities team for sorting out the lack of hot water for 24 hours issue as quickly as they could. We would happily book #39 again, once the lounge furniture is addressed.

We have recently upgraded our dining chairs and will look to have the sofa cushions refilled as soon as possible. They are not old, but are filled with duck down and from your comments need some attention.   • "A lovely apartment, very clean, warm and comfortable."

    Location is perfect, right next to the car ferry and a short walk to the shops. The kitchen is extremely well equipped should you wish to cook although we ate out as there are so many places to choose from. Dartmouth is a beautiful place, we enjoyed our breakfast at The Embankment, and ate twice at The Floating Bridge next door to the apartment. They do a great roast dinner and lovely fish and chips. We would love to stay again when next in Dartmouth. Thank you.

  • "Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful apartment."

    The maintenance and cleanliness 10/10 Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. We also enjoyed the views of the river from the lounge. Staying the first week of January is always concern of being warm! The apartment never felt cold. Wonderful location and nice to have Dart Marina Hotel and Spa next door. One little thing we missed of which we have had in other accommodation is a Bluetooth speaker to play music through. Please may I pass on my thanks to Sykes for their swift response sorting out the shower head in the property. I would highly recommend this property for a relaxed stay in Dartmouth.

  • "We had a perfect week in no 39 Dart Marina thank you once again - this is our second stay this year and if we can bear the car journey again (M25 queues) we hope to come back - if you will have us of course!"

    The apartment is very comfortable and so well fitted out. On bad weather days as we returned to no 39 we always commented on how cosy and welcoming it felt.

  • "A super stay thank you."

    Would love to stay again. Perfect for our family of 4. Would have been nice to have been able to open the windows a little wider as it was quite warm upstairs. Perhaps have some fans available to use if this isn’t an option.

  • "First I would like to say we had a great time."

    For there information the hot tap at the kitchen sink sometimes doesn’t work as it should . More information about appliances is required. The stays on the kitchen window need re fixing and window needs adjustment very minor criticism. The location is perfect

39 Dart Marina is a roomy and contemporary duplex apartment in Dartmouth, Devon, in a spectacular position to enjoy the beautiful views of the River Dart.

This apartment is the ideal location for a fabulous getaway in Devon for two couples or a family of four, since it not only has a good view but is also close to many of South Devon's attractions and landmarks.

There is an allocated parking spot as well as additional guest parking and is only a short walk from the town centre.

The apartment features a spacious entry hall, with a convenient coat rail.

Just off the entry hall are two double bedrooms, each with zip/link king-size beds.

The sleek bathtub with shower over completes the first floor.

The living/dining/kitchen area can be found on the second floor featuring contemporary furnishings such as plush seating, feature fireplace, along with a Smart TV; the perfect place for unwinding after a day of sightseeing!

A circular table adequately seats four people, the well-equipped kitchen is adjacent and offers a variety of appliances such as a handy washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric oven and hob and fridge.

Upstairs on the second floor is a further bathroom with a walk in shower.

Dartmouth stages events such as the Music Festival in May, the Regatta in August, the Food Festival in October and Candlelit Dartmouth in December, whilst the Flavel (Arts) Centre has an ever-changing programme of live events and cinema.

The River Dart can also be explored by taking a steamboat trip to the mouth of the river or by taking a ferry upstream to Dittisham or Greenway, Agatha Christie’s summer residence.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town.
