  • "We had a fantastic time."

Jake's place was clean and it had everything you needed. There was plenty of storage for all your things. The apartment was a short walk from the shop and club house. There were some very beautiful walks around the park and it was amazing we could take our dog. We took a crate for him and there was plenty of space for it. It was an extra bonus having the swimming passes included with the price. The pool was amazing the children used both the indoor pool and outdoor pool and they loved the slide on the outdoor pool. They run activities at the pool like pool parts and wipeout which you can book onto at the pool reception for a small fee which the children really enjoyed. Down at the club house 'The boathouse' they serve really good food and you can sit inside or outside on the terrace and overlook the children's play area which is huge. There's a large park with a mini golf course and a enclosed space to play football. Everything is about a 5 to 20 minute drive to Tesco, Asda, shopping complex etc. We visited North Devon wake park which was amazing and 5 minutes from Jake's place. We also visited Westward ho! and it was a very hot day and felt like we were abroad, it has a spectacular beach and a swimming pool in the rock pools. We will definitely be visiting again. It was a fantastic family holiday, great apartment and park and even better that we could take our golden retriever.
