  • "Location and view really good."

Loved the rough seas boiling away while sat outside… comfortable if a tiny bit ‘dated’ but everything clean and working as detailed in the original description. Nicely located as easily within five minutes of local shops, pubs, services. Thoroughly recommend Dinky Deli, The Lime Kiln, Slice of Devon and the George & Dragon. Would definitely book here again if coming back to Ilfracombe.

  • "This place is so calm overlooking the sea."

You wake up every morning with a lovely view of the sea from the bed. We then had breakfast on the balcony looking out to the sea. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is almost perfect for a calming break away.

  • "This is the 5th time that we have booked and stayed at Val’s Seaview."

Its location and outstanding views over the Bristol channel make it an ideal choice for visiting Ilfracombe. The apartment is clean, comfortable well-equipped. We will be booking again.

So glad you enjoyed your trip again. We will hopefully be able to see you at Vals Seaview again. Property Owner

  • "Excellent week spent at Val's Sea View Apartment."

Flat 5, Rockcliffe, Capstone Crescent/ Road. Very well equipped, very clean. You can see and listen to the sea from your bed. Lovely veranda over looking the sea. Even had seals visiting us. Quite central but up a hill - I managed it. Ilfracombe has many restaurants. Our favourite Tapas and Terrace Wine Bar on Fore Street. Had 6 fantastic Tapas and and a jug of Sangria. Also the Dolphin Fish Restaurant. Wide range on menu and good value for money.

Thank you for your great comments about Val`s Seaview which is named after my mum who grew up in Ilfracombe. We agree with you on the restaurants . the Italian is also really nice if you go back. How lovely that you got to see the seals, sometimes there are also porpoises passing through. Never a dull moment looking out to sea. Not many places you can lie in bed and watch the waves! • "The apartment is well equipped, clean and tidy."

It is situated close to harbour and visitor attractions. The best feature, however, is the stunning view over the Bristol channel from its huge balcony. This was our 5th week spent at this wonderful apartment in the last year.

Thank you for your feedback and you are always welcome to come back to what we find a magical place as the view is stunning and fun to watch all the activity on the Bristol Channel. Property Owner

  • "What an absolute gem."

The view from the lounge was to die for with stunning sunsets and sunrises. We lay in bed each night listening to the sea, no better way to relax. The accommodation had everything you could wish for and even though you're near the centre and the coast trail, you are far enough away for it to be quiet. We would definitely recommend Val's Seaview to friends and family and hopefully will be booking again next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay made even better by having a week of sunshine.

Dear Dawn We thank you for your lovely comments about my mum ( Val) and dad(Ted’s) apartment. It is a gem and we are so glad you had such a lovely time. Any recommendations are always welcome and if you want to return you will be most welcome. Lesley Property Owner

  • "A comfortable, clean, quiet and warm apartment."

It was well equipped. Relaxing to just sit and watch the sea out of the lounge window. Very convenient for all facilities including the bus stops. We would use again if wanted to stay in Ilfracombe. Just need to be aware that no parking and balcony faces north (which maybe an advantage in the summer) but this is clear in the details.
