Town End Farm Cottages

Nestled on the edge of the ancient village of Crowcombe in the heart of the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are these two traditional holiday cottages, perfectly positioned for exploring Somerset, as well as the Exmoor National Park within driving distance. Together the cottages sleep up to eight people, offering a great self-catering experience for a variety of groups, ranging from couples, friends, families and keen walkers. The Old Bakery is a 17th century property, which enjoys a sense of tradition and character throughout, whilst Flora’s Barn boasts a more contemporary feel, and has breath-taking views to enjoy from the open-plan living room. You can gather together as a group within the private gardens for a spot of alfresco dining during the summer months, or alternatively gather within the large games barn with pool table, table tennis, darts and table football. By booking a stay at Town End Farm Cottages, your canine companions are welcome to join you on your adventure, as guests are welcome to bring up to a maximum of two dogs, per cottage. If you can tear yourself away from this charming oasis, head into the heart of the village, where you can look forward to tucking into some traditional pub grub at The Carew Arms or pick up any essentials from the small shop. To keep you busy whilst here, head to the Quantock Hills, which is great for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders, whilst admiring the smallest range of hills in the country and wander through the diverse landscape of the heather-clad moors, deep valleys, and sparkling brooks. If you are willing to travel slightly further afield, be sure to spend some time within the Exmoor National Park or head to the coastline and enjoy a traditional day out by the sea at Kilve Beach, perfect for fossil hunting, or within 5 miles of the cottages there are some lovely dog friendly beaches such as Blue Anchor and the pretty Marina at Watchet.
