"This was the perfect location for a bit of R&R."

The lodge is ideally located with the most beautiful panoramic views and so very tranquil. It’s a must if you’re looking for a place to recharge your batteries. The lodge is so perfectly equipped, it was like being in our own home comforts! Thoroughly recommended.

"A last minute booking and we struck gold."

The lodge is in an idyllic, peaceful setting. It’s well equipped and beautifully presented, with thoughtful touches from the lovely hosts. We looked forward to going back there each day after exploring Devon. We are really missing it and would love to visit again one day.

"Stunning accomodation in a rural setting."

Totally tranquil and quiet with nature all around. The accomodation was very comfy and with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The host was also very approachable. Highly recommend and would like to stay again.

"Last minute booking for myself, husband and son (15) and what a find!"

Warm and welcoming host who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and even left us a welcome bottle of bubbles and biscuits. The lodge was immaculately presented but still felt homely..even better than the pictures. It is situated with another in its own grounds with breathtaking views of the countryside and 2 lakes that are a stones throw away. The wildlife we saw and fed on our stay from Canadian geese with their young, ducks, rabbits and pheasants, to sit and watch the huge fish and dragonflies was truely magical. The lodge has everything you need, the beds are super comfortable, big fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer and of course the hot tub which was clean, hot and ready to get right into! If your looking for peaceful getaway or a beautiful base to explore Devon, I can't recommend staying here enough. We cant wait to return ..next time I'm bringing my fishing rod, binoculars and staying longer!! Thanks again The Farrer Family X
