  • "The Roundhouse is compact and very cosy, but spacious as well."

Ideal for two people. Large kiitchen with everything you need. As well as humans, dog's are also made very welcome, with much thought given to their needs, including a secure garden and patio area, and a large porch area for removing wet clothes and drying dogs.

Thank you for sharing your feedback of your stay in The Roundhouse. William, you're spot-on, our four-legged friends need to be comfortable and happy too! The Roundhouse is always a popular choice especially for guests with dogs since it has all the creature comforts and provides privacy. The copse and grounds make it ideal for exercising the dogs too. Thank you for choosing us, being wonderful guests, and we hope to see you again in the near future, until then we send our kindest regards to you both. Jules & Nick Property Owner

  • "The property let by Jules and Nick is of the highest standard you can achieve."

The care and attention they give to their visitors is amazing. One of the highest accolades I can give is it felt like being home from home, from the moment we arrived to when we reluctantly left. It is a great venue for any family as well as being a wonderful place to chill out as a couple. Highly recommended

Thank you so much for your glowing review of your stay in The Roundhouse. We're absolutely thrilled that you found it so comfortable and we hope you'll stay with us again. You can stay all year round (spring is especially beautiful here). Until then, sending out very best regards to you both, Jules and Nick Property Owner

Their attention to detail is over and above, and the facilities on site are perfect for a family getaway in their other properties. However, the Roundhouse also offers a private area if you just want a quiet retreat as a couple.

Thank you so much for your review of your stay in The Roundhouse and your kind words in the guest book too! The fact that you already booked another stay with us next year speaks volumes! Until then, our very best regards to you both. Jules ️ & Nick Property Owner

But only 5 min drive from main road A39 which gives easy access to a lot of lovely coastal towns along the north coast of Cornwall. The cottage was very nice and cosy with a very comfortable bed.

We enjoyed The Roundhouse, to the extent that we have booked next year celebrating our Anniversary and my husband’s birthday.

Thank you so much Melanie! The Roundhouse is a real 'home from home' with all the creature comforts, and we know that the EV charge point is super handy for you too. • "A lovely clean and well equipped cottage in peaceful surroundings."

The host was also second to none. We will be returning and would highly recommend. The only down side was that the sat nav kept sending us in the wrong direction!!!

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay in The Roundhouse - it really is home from home and a wonderful escape from the madding crowd; as we say 'far enough away yet close to everywhere'. Sat Nav is notoriously evasive in Cornwall ... Google maps really is a gem here as you've discovered. Having an EV charge point here helped take out the stress of travel which is a bonus. You were lovely guests, and it would be a pleasure to welcome you back again in the near future. Kind regards, Jules & Nick Property Owner

Enjoyed the wet room shower. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful which added to the pleasure of the week.

Thanks Janet - it's the little things that mean the most! We're here when you need us. Best regards, Jules and Nick. Property Owner

  • "Lovely cottage in a peaceful setting and very helpful owners on hand."

It was a great location with access to main North Cornwall towns, villages and beaches. Only thing to bear in mind for EV owners is the charger on site is convenient but shared across all of the cottages on site and the owner. We were fortunate during our visit being the only visitors with an EV, but it could add to stress at the end of each day if there are a few cars jostling for the charger.

No complaints, lots of indoor & outdoor games, dvds, puzzles to choose from. Smart tv in the lounge & freeview tv in the bedroom. No traffic noise except when other guests drive past the lounge window. We would certainly return in the future.

The owners provide opportunity for games and there is a play area for children, so all needs are catered for. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and would be on hand to help if needed.I would thoroughly recommend this cottage for a holiday in the countryside, with the sea not too far away.

Trenannick Farm Cottages

Set within a peaceful wooded hollow, just 5 miles from the stunning North Cornwall coast is Trenannick Farm. This charming group of 18th century stone built cottages are accessed via a beautiful long beech tree lined drive in a quiet, rural haven. The cottages have been furnished to a very good standard with many thoughtful touches provided by the friendly owners and have recently been awarded Gold status from Green Tourism. Relaxation comes naturally here; surrounded by birds and wildlife Trenannick provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life and provides the ideal location to make some glorious holiday memories. Children and adults alike will love meeting the alpacas Macchu, Cusco and Lima who will be glad to accompany them for a walk around the farm and also to collect eggs from the free-range chickens on the three acre estate. There is a large play area with children’s swings and slide, a sand boules pitch, mini pitch and putt, plus a copse to exercise your dog and for the children to play in. Whilst in the games room there is table tennis and a darts board so there is always something to entertain, even on those rainy day afternoons. An outside 'doggy wash' is a handy addition for rinsing muddy canine pals or sandy boards and wetsuits. Crackington Haven, which is popular with surfers is just 5 miles away, whilst nearby Bude is perfect for families with a choice of two sandy beaches (one dog friendly year round) and a tidal sea pool for swimming, it is the perfect choice for a sun soaked summer day and offers bracing walks in the cooler seasons. Walkers can easily join the coastal path, or alternatively, cycle or walk the famous Camel Trail, hike on Bodmin Moor, or explore the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel. Discovering Cornwall is easy from Trenannick Farm Cottages! After a day of adventures, why not gather around the fire pit or BBQ area where you can listen for owls and roast marshmallows into the evening and with zero light pollution the stars are simply amazing. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 24 guests.
