  • "Overall ok for a few days could do with a bit updating but had everything you needed the light on the decking area wasn't working could be the bulb and the clothes air dryer was broken so couldn't use it to dry some wet clothes from the pool was a bit smaller than expected but for 2 adults and 1 child and a dog was ok Internet was a bit slow but this was in the description the pool was great."

The decking area is fully enclosed with a gate so really good for keeping the dog without him wandering off. Great location if you want to be out in the countryside people on site was friendly. It also has a laundry room at the entrance of the site and a hose to wash the dogs, shops and petrol station around 5 minutes by car bigger supermarket around 10 minutes away overall had a good stay.

  • "We loved our stay at Crystals ."

It was clean and well maintained. We loved that our decked garden area was very private and enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine one afternoon. The house was smaller than the photos showed but it was cosy and all we needed. The shower ran lovely and hot , which was fantastic as the end of September was bringing a chill. I would have loved a softer pillow and a thicker duvet but I put on the bedroom heater instead. Lovely area and good to have some walks from the house as we had my dog. I would definitely recommend and possibly stay there again ( though I do like to try new places)

  • "Good location, friendly locals, but would rent elsewhere."

Generally clean but polished surfaces eg chair arms, were sticky. Bedding and cushion covers tired/worn/torn. Double mattress lumpy/uncomfortable. Broadband very slow: TV reception patchy and internet often unusable. Before trip, struggled to contact Sykes, to identify and resolve my typing error on booking form, which Sykes had failed to compare with my previous bookings. Would not risk a repetition; will not use Sykes again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during you stay. Your comments have been passed on to our cleaners to ensure that all polished surfaces and furnishings receive extra attention. We’re also sorry that some of the bedding and cushions were not up to standard, this has since been reviewed with the owner. Regarding the Wi-Fi, it can unfortunately be intermittent in this area, which may affect both internet speed and TV reception. Lastly, regarding the difficulty you experienced when trying to update your booking details before your stay, your feedback has been shared with the relevant team so we can improve this process. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know. Property Owner
