  • "A lovely well equipped cottage - views are amazing."

Have had a brilliant week and would go back to the cottage if we were to stay in the same area again.

  • "The cottage was exactly as described."

The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had all mod cons with an added view of the Bristol Channel. In warm and dry weather the BBQ and Summer House would be a great asset. The beds were comfortable and the shower good. Yes parking a small problem but we had been warned!! Home baked Muffins and coffee pods a nice touch.

  • "Well equipped cottage very clean and comfortable fantastic views ."

The parking is a bit of a pain as it’s a good 200 mts away in a farm entrance. Shame the local pub has shut but the village store is well stocked . Overall an enjoyable stay .

. We are delighted to report that the village pub (The Globe) has reopened, for food and drink, since November 2022. Property Owner

  • "There was an exceptional level of attention to detail, including the delicious lemon cake and excellent and comprehensive information folders, which led us to visit some beautiful places we hadn't discovered in our planning."

It was very comfortable with excellent facilities but there was also a personal touch, which we really appreciated.

  • "The cottage is very specious and well Equipped."

The bedding and towels are clean and the massive bed in the rather specious double room is very comfatable.. lovely garden with beautiful views of the country side and sea.. the internet kept going off which only bothered us on those cosey nights in watching a film.. The welcome tea, coffee, sugar pack and lemon cake was a nice touch. the cottage was clean and tidy but found the kitchen a little grumby.. some of the cutlery was dirty the cups sticky and found 2 dirty plates and 4 bowels mixed in with the clean ones.. the frying pan is a good size for those staying with a family but be warned its very heavy.. overall the kitchen was ok. Great views while washing up and eating breakfast.. loved every minute of our stay in The cottage and Berrynarbor. Despite the unclean items which isnt a big thing but attention to detail is the key to ones stay i would recommend the cottage to friends & family and would stay again.

We liked it so much we came back. It is a lovely location and is well placed for our walks in North Devon. You can see where we went by looking at our North Devon playlist on YouTube.com/JimandDawn

  • "Very pretty comfortable cottage with the most amazing views, across country to the sea."

Well positioned to visit coastal towns and for country and coastal walks. Main critism there is only one toilet and no parking outside. Otherwise would not hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage for a restful country stay.

  • "Such a charming cottage with beautiful views."

The master bedroom had a lovely spacious and comfortable bed. This cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. And the contents of the cottage were of a high standard. The laundry room is also very handy. We lived out stay there. The only fault really was no stand up shower, only a shower fitting on the bath taps, and no rails for getting in and out of bath so not suited to anyone who isn't able bodied. Posed no problem for us though.

It was like sleeping in our own beds . Kitchen would have been nice if there were a couple of T Towels. Otherwise perfect

  • "Absolutely gorgeous cottage with spectacular views from the house and garden."

Tastefully decorated, comfortable with all of the amenities. We loved the garden room and the amazing master bedroom. The parking is down a lane, but it made no real impact on our trip. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday

  • "Parking down the road is more like 200 yards than the figure stated."

Could do with a path in the rear garden to get to the summer house at bottom of the garden rather than walking through wet grass. Lovely cottage with good equipment and beautiful views.
