    Lovely bright rooms, tall ceilings and a fabulous rear garden which was ideal for us to sit out in the evenings. The house is also situated really close to all the amenities and facilities which was a real plus point for us. We will definitely go back to the house.

    Zoe contacted me prior to arrival with some details and a welcome message. The location couldn't be better as you are at the shops or beach within 5 minutes. Parking for 2 cars is an added bonus. Everything in the house was spotless and essentials provided including washing up liquid etc which I have always had to provide myself in the past. The fact that there are 2 toilets, both separate to the bathroom worked great for us. We were with my daughter, son in law and toddler grandson. My daughter is already planning on us returning in two years time. Thank you Zoe for a fantastic house.

    A very nice big house situated near to shops,beach,harbour and restaurants. Lovely big rooms excellent kitchen and a great garden which the kids loved. The house was spotless with two parking spaces out front. Would not hesitate staying there again if visiting Paignton, thanks Doug.

    "Wonderful stay."

    The house was clean and comfortable, with a lovely space outside in the garden. Was great to leave the car parked up and walk to the seaside. Buses, trains and taxis in close proximity. Would be happy to stay again when we come to visit friends in the area. Thank you to our host for checking we were settled in.

    "Perfect. What’s not to like … great house, nice furnishings, big bedrooms, functional kitchen, decent shower, separate toilets, off road parking, fantastic location - short walk to harbour, beach and town."

    Paignton was better than expected - very good restaurants, decent bars, sea views, friendly people. And a super base for south Devon, easy to get to Dartmouth, Brixham, two excellent national trusts etc.

    "Exactly as advertised, very spacious, clean, comfortable home, good communication with host."

    Great tv, the shower is good and we appreciated the hand rail by the bath for safety. The double glazing works well to keep out unwanted noise, so it was quite peaceful even though its close to the train station. Great location, pubs and amenities close by, no big hills on the way! Good location for exploring South Devon by train or by car.

    "Amazing property in an amazing location."

    Zoe really has made sure everything is thought of for our stay including a lovely welcome gift. Super clean property with plenty of space. Garden was lovely to sit in when the sun finally came out. Within 10 mins you can either be in the town centre or down by the Harbour. If we come back to Paignton I will definitely be checking to see if this property is available.

    The house was lovely - quiet, clean and the perfect location. The garden was a real bonus, too. The host’s communication before we arrived was excellent, and they made sure the cot and high chair were set up for us.     The property owner contacted me regarding the key safe code etc, and I can say I couldn't have asked for anything better, the property is so well-equipped from the moment you step through the front door. The cleanliness of the property is outstanding. A five-minute walk to the seafront, shops and train station, and the wonderful restaurants you have to choose from.     "Spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, 5 Stafford Road had everything we needed for a great holiday."

    It was good to have off road parking and the location was excellent being only a short walk from the beach, town and all facilities. Three generations of us stayed here and all enjoyed relaxing in this lovely property. We felt welcomed by the owner and were assured that we could get in touch if we needed anything. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect base for exploring South Devon.

    "This is a lovely spacious house in a small cul-de-sac which has good parking and a sunny garden with plenty of seating."

    We never heard any noise from the adjoining property. All the facilities (tv, oven, washing machine, dishwasher etc) seemed to be brand new and everything was spotless. We did contact the owner to ask if there was a clothes airer (no point using the dryer on a sunny day) and one was purchased and brought to us very quickly.
