  • "Great property!"

Excellent host! We arrived on a rainy Tuesday to delicious scones and welcoming fires to raise our spirits after a long journey. Everything we could need and more was provided (particularly in the kitchen). The children loved being able to run around in the enclosed garden. Our border terrier was truly spoilt with her own treats jar, towel and sofa cover so she could cuddle up with us. Provisions for infants provided on request which was helpful. Location is close to Bigbury on sea so not far to go for a trip to the beach. And we ventured to Salcombe which is not too far either. The little local shop in St Ann’s chapel was great for getting things without having to drive. Overall a wonderful time at Little Coombe.

  • "The cottage was fantastic and the advert doesn't do it justice, Cathy was such a support we had issues with my car one day and had a 12 hour wait for the RAC to attend and Cathy kept in touch making sure we had everything we needed at the cottage in case we could get out for something before shops closed."

as long term Sykes customers this is well above the service we have experienced elsewhere. I have scored Sykes down as booking is so much more difficult with the removal of call centre, the on line chat function for booking and queries is not a sufficient replacement and i don't recommend Sykes anymore.

  • "Our family all loved the property, best we have stayed in and we come to Devon quite frequently."

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped for self catering. We love to cook so especiallyimportant to us. Bedrooms comfortable and nicely furnished. We didn't use the bunk-bed room which probably only suitable for under 12's and I would be a little worried about the positions of the light sockets with younger children. The garden was perfect for adults, children and our labradoodle was a very happy boy. The accomodation is also near to several local attractions if you want to explore the area. The local shop virtually on the doorstop was brilliant and I would urge people to make good use of it rather than bring everything with them. Initially I was a bit concerned about proximity of the pub but it really wasn't an issue at all. Cathy is a wonderful host, we would highly recommend. We hope to return soon.

  • "A lovely well equipped cottage, Cathy was a great hostess who was on hand for anything we needed."

Great spot for travelling around this part of Devon and the garden was secure for the dogs.
