  • "A very comfortable cottage close to amenities such as supermarket, park and sea."

A large well equipped kitchen, only missing a dishwasher and maybe a tumble dryer for those wet days. Parking space right outside and an extra space in the private driveway. Private patio areas front and back. A large smart tv in the lounge but sofas ate us up and difficult to get out of. Really wonderful place to stay.

Thank you for your kind review Property Owner

  • "I would have given 5 stars but the en suite shower hot tap did not work and the lovely roll top bath had a leak underneath."

A big plus was the welcome pack and gifts , much appreciated

Sorry to hear you had issues with the shower and bath. If you had got in touch with Sykes the problems could have been solved straight away. The shower temperature is controlled by the left hand tap which is working, although it does take a while for the water to come through hot. The bath, we will get that looked at. Other than that we hope you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

Everything you needed. Lovely welcome pack and dog treats. Very thoughtful. Lovely quiet area 2 minutes walk from Tesco. Town centre not to far away. Walkable. Kitchen very well equipped. A dishwasher would be nice. Master bedroom beautiful. Roll top bath and shower cubicle. Will definitely book again.

  • "We had a very enjoyable few days at this superb property, situated in a quiet area but near to the beach, pubs, shops etc."

The enclosed gardens where a bonus for letting our dog out without the worry of him escaping or having to put a lead on him and then having stand out in the cold to supervise.

  • "Great property, situated on an estate on the edge of town so little built up."

Handy for shopping especially the Supermarket. Being an older guest the sofas were a little too soft for comfort.

Thank you for your kind review. Will look into getting new sofas for the lounge Property Owner

  • "It's always a risk booking a holiday property you haven't seen, but in this case it was well worth it."

If anything, the pictures did not adequately express how wonderful this property is. The rooms were bigger than expected, the kitchen / dining space was great, and the living room cosy. The master bedroom and on-suite was perfect, and the showers in both bathrooms were amazing. The best part for us was that we were attending the wedding of my niece, and the property was just 10 minutes walk from my sisters house. Actually the location is amazing, especially if you like walking. 5 minutes walk to Tesco, 5 minutes to the Rosewood pub, 10 minutes into Burnham. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that wishes to stay in central Burnham, and truly hope it is available again the next time we visit the UK.
