    All three double bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped, although we didn't actually do any cooking. Good WiFi. We didn't turn the TV on. Outside seating was comfortable with the cushions provided. The hot tub was well used during our weekend visit. The views across the valley are beautiful and quiet, Teignmouth lighthouse blinking on the far horizon. We could hear a pair of sparrowhawks and spotted them perched high on their observation point. The hosts were friendly and helpful, as were the donkeys who came to pay us a visit. Very relaxing venue.

  • "The cottage was perfect."

    Beautiful surroundings, very relaxing break. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The bedroom set up was perfect for myself and my two daughters, they loved having their own rooms with double bed and shower. The views are stunning. The hot tub was amazing, even in the heatwave we turned the temperature down slightly. We had a wonderful stay, Thankyou to the lovely owners.

    The holiday was perfect from start to finish and to top it off we had very hot weather, 26 to 32 degrees all week, it was like being abroad. The owners were so lovely and very helpful. We would definitely return.

    Soo clean, a perfect stay for 3 couples, having our own bathrooms. The hot tub with amazing views was great to relax in after a days walking. The owners were friendly and helpful! Will definitely be back.

    The owners were welcoming and could not have done more to help make the stay enjoyable. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed-little extras provided made it just that little bit more special. Views are stunning. Lots of space, so peaceful and the newborn lambs and donkeys was a little bonus. Thank you for a wonderful 4 days. We didn’t want to leave

  • "This is a really special and unique place."

    The cottage is finished to a high standard, while feeling authentically rural and comfortable in style. The facilities are great. The area is completely charming, the hosts are lovely people who ensure guests are comfortable and happy. Then there is just the extra ‘magic’ of it-the buzzards soaring high above the valley, the beautiful and diverse trees, the view, the sheep and donkeys, the sun spilling across the valley in the mornings, the birdsong and the peace. Thank you John & Angela for sharing this special place .

    The accommodation is spacious, spotlessly clean and finished to a high standard. The views are outstanding and the property is in a quiet location, making it a great place to unwind. Angela and John went above and beyond to make our stay special, they even left some Easter chocolate, which the kids loved! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Situated in the beautiful Culm Valley, surrounded by rolling Devon hills, Bradninch is a small thriving community, well known for its exciting music and arts events. Bradninch is home to a village shop and a traditional local pub, Ye Olde White Lion, where a warm welcome awaits and a lively atmosphere, real ales, home-cooked food and music nights are a certainty. Footpaths, fields and abundant natural wildlife characterise the surrounding landscape, several of the National Trust’s stately homes and gardens are within easy reach and Bradninch is only a short drive from the dramatic 20-mile stretch of the Jurassic Coast, England’s first natural World Heritage Site. Resorts such as Seaton, Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth are found along this stretch of coastline, and all have plenty to occupy their visitors.
