    I dont think I could ever get bored of the views and its so quiet. Although you can see Exeter airport you do not hear it. Angela and John are great and so friendly and happy to have a chat. The cottage is perfect, alot of attention to making it the ideal place to stay. Will definitely come back again, we are missing it already. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay

    Beautifully furnished, very comfortable and with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Comes with very nice host's as well. The cottage is in a beautiful location, high up with an amazing view to the south. Just wonderful to laze in the hot tub at the end of the day enjoying the view with a drink. Hope to come back some time.

    The cleanliness, quality of fittings, spotless like it's brand new. A lot of care has gone into everything you needed for a restful stay. The views over the countryside from the hot tub are fantastic. It's a short drive to the main roads to go exploring. Angela and John the hosts are really friendly and welcoming always willing to have a chat and show their rescued donkeys and lambs when they can.

    "I've been staying in self catering places for 20 years and this is my absolute favourite."

    The cottage was modern, warm, very clean, comfortable and you could tell it had really been well looked after. The woodwork, bathrooms, TVs etc were all of a really good quality. Small touches like binoculars and bird spotting books on the windows or bath and hand towels being colour coded to each person so you know which towel is yours make such a difference. The owners were very kind and despite having a busy farm to look after Angela took an hour out of her day to show my young girls the resident donkeys. Despite all of our days out this experience was the highlight for both of them! The situation is just wonderful. Only 5 mins to a main road and 15 mins to a small town / the M5 so you have good access when you want it the cottage feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. So quiet. So peaceful. The hot tub out front has the most stunning view across east Devon. Sitting in the hot tub of an evening watching a barn owl hunting was a magical experience. Great property, great owners, stunning location. By far the best Sykes property I've stayed in. Will be coming back. Recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful rural Devon holiday.

    We have stayed in lots of places but this was amazing. Loads of parking, amazing views, donkeys and sheep to visit in the grounds. Free hot tub, free washing machine and tumble dryer, central heating on and the place warm and cozy. Beds so comfy, with towels and toiletries supplied in both en suites. TV's in both large bedrooms. Angela and John live on the premises, are very friendly (we spent a lot of time chatting

With off-road parking for two cars, this property is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a tranquil escape.

Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by an open-plan area, where you can unwind on the plush seating or snuggle up in the armchair while watching your favourite shows on the Smart TV with Freeview.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table.

Carry your conversations onto the garden, where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining on the patio or relax on the graveled area, whilst the hot tub is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

A convenient cloakroom with a WC and basin completes the ground floor layout.

As the day draws to a close, retire to one of the two king-size bedrooms, both of which boast ample storage and TVs with Freeview for those lazy mornings in bed.

Situated in the beautiful Culm Valley, surrounded by rolling Devon hills, Bradninch is a small thriving community, well known for its exciting music and arts events. Bradninch is home to a village shop and a traditional local pub, Ye Olde White Lion, where a warm welcome awaits and a lively atmosphere, real ales, home-cooked food and music nights are a certainty. Footpaths, fields and abundant natural wildlife characterise the surrounding landscape, several of the National Trust’s stately homes and gardens are within easy reach and Bradninch is only a short drive from the dramatic 20-mile stretch of the Jurassic Coast, England’s first natural World Heritage Site.
