The property

‘The Salcombe’ waterside apartments are located in central Salcombe.

Residents have exclusive use of a seasonal private outdoor heated swimming pool, communal gardens, one allocated parking space per flat and mooring.

With stunning waterside views of Salcombe estuary and the unspoilt beaches at East Portlemouth, this third floor flat is set in one of Salcombe’s most enviable locations.

32 The Salcombe is a one bedroom property, that can sleep up to four guests.

From the hallway, there is an open plan lounge/kitchenette.

The kitchenette is the perfect ‘pit-stop’, with its breakfast bar and seating for four, as you can sit and indulge, looking out at the stunning seaside view.

In the lounge is a double sprung bed settee, TV and DVD player, and doors that lead out the balcony.

The lovely balcony, with beautiful views of the main anchorage, is fantastic for spending time with loved ones in a stunning setting.

The bathroom has a bath and power shower (over) with w.c.

to rinse off sandy toes and salty hair, after a day spent on one of South Devon’s unspoilt beaches.

This property is the ideal base for a young family, friends or a couple looking to explore Salcombe and the surrounding countryside.

Catch the passenger ferry over to the sandy beaches at East Portlemouth, or venture to North Sands or South Sands.

Alternatively, explore the South West Coast Path on foot, or simply enjoy Salcombe’s shops and restaurants.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Region Information

The Salcombe residents enjoy exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool which is normally available from late May to late September each year (subject to change). Due to Covid-19 restrictions the swimming pool may not be open during your stay.

The flat can be accessed via a lift.

Pontoons to be removed for the winter in November - Moorings will not be available during this time.
