The property

7 Island Quay is a comfortable and very well presented three-storey town house that is furnished and equipped to a very good standard throughout, in a central location to enjoy Salcombe’s waterfront, beaches, shops and restaurants From the private courtyard, the entrance opens in to a small lobby immediately leading to the kitchen and then stairs up to the first floor.

There is also access to an area from outside for dealing with items used when in or on the sea. At the first-floor level is a cosy living area with panoramic harbour views from the large picture window.

The sitting room is furnished with a sofa, armchairs and occasional furniture. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a range of electrical appliances. A large opening window leads out to the waterside terrace at the rear. Three bedrooms in total: on the first floor there is a twin room with two single beds, bedside units and fitted wardrobe, whilst on the upper level there are a two further double bedrooms along with a family bathroom. The master en suite has a King-size bed, bedside units, fitted wardrobes and superb water views.

The en suite has a shower room with shower cubicle, wash-hand basin and w.c. The third bedroom, suitable for one guest only, has a King-size bed (narrow access along one side) and a fitted wardrobe. In addition, to the en suite there is a family bathroom on the upper floor which has a bath with shower (over) wash hand basin and w.c. There is an additional cloakroom adjacent to the sitting room with w.c and wash-hand basin. Outside there is a small stone terrace from which to enjoy the magnificent views.

Mooring for one boat up to 17' in length directly outside the property, plus parking for one car and Wireless Broadband available.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

As parking within Salcombe is limited and to ensure access to emergency vehicles please provide the Salcombe office with the vehicle registration of the car you will be bringing with you. Should you have any need for electric car charging while at the property please enquire as there will be an additional charge.

The private mooring is available for one boat up to 17ft in length - The pontoon is accessed alongside NO 10 and you will find a private residents only gate. The pontoon has a number corresponding to each property. You do not have to enter other properties outside spaces to access the pontoon.
