  • "Property has 6 beds but only 5 dining chairs which is annoying."

Interior is not very modern and feels dated. Feels like you only get away with the high cost to stay because of how nice Lyme is and not because if your Property.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following your stay. The property is advertised as only sleeping 5 guests so features such as dining arrangements are designed for this maximum capacity. This is displayed clearly in the photos. Should guests need additional seating, there is another chair in one of the bedrooms or the outside decking has extra seating. The property is kept up to date by the owners and the photos market it accurately. Lyme is a very popular UK holiday destination and the month of August is our peak season. The price of your short break is comparable to similar size properties across the board. Thank you again for your comments and we hope that you will return to Dorset soon. Property Owner

  • "A nice house to stay in Lyme again."

Great to have so much space with 3 bedrooms and the top floor having its own bathroom. Getting a little tired in places with bits of decor, scratched leather settee and slight dog smell. The first floor bathroom shower head could do with a replacement as very weak. The house was in a quiet area, within easy reach of Lyme to walk in and out different ways with good views of the sea. Well equipped with everything you needed and it was in a good place to further explore the surrounding area. Thank you.

  • "The house was as described, very comfortable, homely and warm, we had a wonderful stay, quite area, and lovely neighbours, the storm Ciarian was unfortunate but didn't spoil our stay, the views are lovely from the back of the house, and as we navigated the area, we found easier ways back to the house than the big hill, the garage was a very welcome addition, and even accommodated our 4x4, we would definitely recommend this property for a holiday destination."

  • "Henry's Way is a delightful townhouse with lovely views over the church yard to the sea."

We arrived to a delightful welcome package of local goodies & a spotlessly clean house. It's a modern property & simply has everything you'd need. The terraced garden is lovely & the garage a real bonus for bicycles & kit storage. If you are not a good walker I would recommend a car to easily access Lyme & the surrounding areas. Loved this house ! Great stay ! Thank you x

  • "Lovely property although the appliances need updating especially the washer as it was listed as a washer drier, but didn't dry at all."

Lounge furniture could have been more comfy and wouldn't be sufficient for 6 people, luckily we were only 3. Upstairs tv was unwatchable, with no signal at all. Lyme Regis is lovely, we have been many times before and will go again, but not in this property.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you experienced some issues while at the property. A new washer/dryer is on order and the TV was unfortunately on the wrong setting. This has now been rectified. As a letting agent, we would only advertise a property that can seat the same amount of people that it sleeps. This particular property sleeps 5 so it would not seat 6 in the sitting room. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your time in Lyme. Property Owner

  • "A really comfortable and well equipped house."

It was really clean and has everything you would need for a stay. All cleaning products ( washing up liquid/ anti bac sprays/ dishwasher tabs) were at the property for use which was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend it. A small thing, the appliances such as the washing machine are very old and have the older settings in letters. I did use it once but the instructions didn’t match the cycles so I didn’t use it again. There was also no washing line or big enough clothes horse to dry washing on. The decking is a sun trap. The house is in a really quiet area and nice to sit out on. The welcome pack was lovely and very generous. The location was great and it’s a pretty walk into town. Approx 15 mins to shops and pebble beach , 25 mins to sandy beach and 35mins to good dog beach. We had 2 kids and dog with us so could walk it quicker without them! The hill was very steep to the property coming back so something to be aware of but in Lyme Regis all properties will be up a hill!

Thank you for your kind comments. We will look into the clothes drying and appliances. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Very easy to find, very clean & comfortable."

Excellent facilities, everything you could need. The bag of goodies was a lovely touch. Might be worth noting that to walk to the property is up a long and very steep hill as we were not expecting this.

  • "The house is very well equipped and in a fantastic area."

Only a few minutes walk into the centre of Lyme. However the house is very tired looking on the inside and in need of some TLC and a good clean. The lounge carpet is full of stains which is not a good first impression when entering the house. It could do with a deep clean! The downstairs toilet window and main bathroom window do not open. The decking rail in the garden wobbles and is not safe. There are also dead plants in pots which need to be removed!

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the lounge carpet was stained with hair dye by previous guests and despite it being professionally cleaned they have not come out or faded. The owner has therefore arranged to have the carpet replaced on 4th July 2022. I am sorry that you didn't contact us about the windows during your holiday as one of our maintenance team would have willingly taken a look and hopefully repaired them. However, this is now being done so thank you for highlighting the problem to us. The wobbly decking has also been made safe by a local builder but the owner has made arrangements with a local contractor and this is being replaced in the Autumn. Lyme Bay Holidays. Property Owner
