    The house is amazing and the views incredible. Our host was very welcome and generous too. Being given the pool was an unexpected pleasure. Our only issues were that one bed was too hard and the showers weren’t very powerful. We will be back!

Butcombe Farm House is a wonderful stone-farmhouse resting within 40-acres of land within the beautiful village of Butcombe.

Completing the ground-floor are to bedrooms with their own en-suite, ideal for those with limit mobility, whilst six additional bedrooms can be found upstairs, each with an access to an en-suite.

Butcombe Farm House is sat within 40-acres of fields and woodland with unrivalled views across the valley to the Mendip hills and over Blagdon Reservoir.

During the warmer months you can rustle up some tasty treats on the BBQ before dipping into a relaxing hot tub, while the children make use of an open-air heated swimming pool.

If you want to explore further afield, Cheddar Gorge can be found within a mere 20-minute drive away and the city of Bristol is only 11 miles away for those looking for some city life.

Tucked away within Somerset and resting in the wonderful Mendip Hills, is the idyllic village of Butcombe. This picture postcard village plays host to a community-led village hall and a church, resting to the north of the breath-taking Blagdon Lake. This small village is packed with a charming history including giving its name to the Butcombe Brewery chain, which produces Butcombe Bitter and Butcombe Brunel. The town sits on the edge of the Mendip Hills Area of Natural Beauty, where its visitors can explore miles of stunning landscapes with hilltops steeped with ancient monuments, proving a range of walks to suit all abilities. Head north to find the larger city of Bristol which is known for being a hotbed for artists as the streets are lined within its own unmistakable identity, as well as a wealth of amenities and attractions to suit all. Butcombe is a quaint village enveloped by stunning surroundings.

Special under occupancy rates available Nov 2021 - March 2022. From £900 (plus booking fee) for a three night break Monday - Thursday based on 6 people sharing 3 bedrooms. Additional Guests charged at £75 per person for three nights. Not available in school holidays. Please call for more information.
