The property

Mount Lebanon, a detached, six-bedroom Georgian property situated on the charming highstreet of Clevedon, Somerset.

Standing testament to timeless elegance and classic architecture, whilst being near shops, pubs, restaurants and a pebbled beach, this exquisite abode welcomes families and friends of up to twelve for a memorable Somerset holiday.

As you approach the property, you are greeted by a striking façade adorned with symmetrical sash windows, characteristic of the Georgian era.

The ground floor boasts a series of well-proportioned rooms, each adorned with high ceilings, ornate fireplaces, and large windows that flood the spaces with natural light.

The living room provides a welcoming retreat, while the formal dining room exudes an air of sophistication, perfect for hosting elegant gatherings.

The fully-equipped kitchen, designed with a perfect blend of contemporary functionality and classic aesthetics, is a culinary haven for both amateur and professional chefs, whilst the adjacent utility room offers convenience with a washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge/freezer.

Ascending the elegant staircase, the upper floors house the five generously-sized bedrooms, each uniquely designed to offer a haven of comfort and tranquillity, whilst the family bathroom features a roll-top bath and walk-in shower, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day.

Take your pick from two super-king-size bedrooms, offering traditional sash windows providing an outlook over the town, two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, and a twin for the little ones.

The final bedroom rests on the ground-floor and occupies a double bed.

The property also features a tiered garden with a lovely terraced dining and lounge area at the top, with stunning far reaching views stretching from the iconic Mendip Hills all the way across the Severn Estuary to the Southern Welsh Coast – a wonderful place to take in the sensational sunsets this coastline provides, offering a private outdoor sanctuary in the heart of Clevedon.

Conveniently situated on Clevedon's high street, within a moment’s stroll lies a supermarket, restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars.

The property's prime location allows for a perfect balance between a serene residential setting and the vibrant energy of a bustling community; explore the iconic Clevedon Pier, a Grade I-listed structure, stretches gracefully over the waters, providing a stunning focal point that has become synonymous with the town's identity or escape to the pebbled beach for strolls along the seafront.

Salthouse Fields, with its expansive grassy areas and playgrounds, provides a perfect setting for picnics and family outings.

Transport links are well-established, connecting Clevedon to nearby cities such as Bristol and Weston-super-Mare, so you can easily enjoy days out.

Mount Lebanon combines historic allure with contemporary comforts to create a home that is as inviting as it is sophisticated.

About the location

CLEVEDON

Weston-Super-Mare 11.9 miles; Bristol 13.8 miles.

The town of Clevedon is on the North Somerset coast across the Bristol Channel from Wales and is within easy reach of the centre of Bristol. It is situated between rolling hills and a beautiful coastline, and was a renowned Victorian seaside resort, and still has some marvellous architecture from that era, especially the Grade II listed pier. This is one of the best piers in the country, built to withstand 40-foot-high tides and as such it gives a wonderful view of Wales for those strolling along it on a fine day. Many poets have been inspired by the views from Clevedon Pier, and there is a magnificent coastal walk – Poets Walk – named after them. Clevedon is easily accessible from the M5 motorway and offers a range of interesting shops as well as the usual High Street stores, many cafés, and restaurants, including The Salthouse Bar and Restaurant, Teatro Lounge, and Bristol Inn. Continue onto Weston-Super-Mare, where you will find the further attractions of Weston Museum, Weston-Super-Mare Beach, Water Adventure Play Park, and the excellent Weston-Super-Mare Golf Club. Further afield, you’ll find Bristol, home to the Bristol Aquarium, Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, Brunel’s SS Great Britain, and a wide variety of eateries, including the Michelin Star restaurants of littlefrench, Blaise Inn, Lido Restaurant, and Paco Tapas, to name a few! So, whether it is traditional coastal scenery or a trip to Bristol that you enjoy, Clevedon makes a good base.
