The owner was very welcoming and there were some lovely touches such as flowers, wine and chocolates. The property is well equipped and spacious - we stayed in Autumn and it would be lovely to return in warmer weather to enjoy the pretty garden. The kitchen is well equipped but the electric hob is a bit temperamental and took a long time to boil water for cooking. I stayed with my sister and she loves cooking so the kitchenette was a bit disappointing for her. However these were very minor issues and we had a lovely time with some superb walks across the fields and lanes. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

The only thing I think could be improved is, another slip mat in the shower as I am partially disabled, and almost fell when moving off the slip mat, as there is still an area of the shower floor which gets very slippery. I used a tea towel I took with us, and put it on the floor of the shower, to prevent an accident. ... Continue reading

Owner very chatty and friendly. Lack of parking initially worried me but there was ample places nearby. A friendly villlage almost everyone spoke to us. Only thing we struggled with was height of hobs on oven. Cottage was otherwise great. Garden area was good too.
