"A comfortable stay as usual and a very warm welcome from Ros, cottage has everything you need."
Bottle of wine and biscuits was a lovely touch on our arrival. It was nice to sit outside in the lovely garden when the weather was good. Great location being on the Somerset and Dorset border basically a hour away from places to visit whether it be in any direction. Easy on street parking, lovely walks nearby, a great base to explore Somerset and Dorset.

"Frodo's is a Lovely warm & Cosy cottage."
Ros was an amazing hostess, anything we needed was provided. Perfect for my Husband and I, we stayed for 10 nights, there is a little patio where you can sit and have a glass of wine in the evening, unfortunately we didn't get to do that due to the bad weather all while we stayed! The roads are easy to drive into Sherborne and other Towns on your list whilst staying there. The little shop across the road was handy, as was The Virginia Ash Restaurant and the Bird in Hand Pub. I Would highly recommend this property, we will certainly be booking again! Thank you Ros & Sykes!

Kitchen very low tech with old worktop mounted cooker. Lounge and bedroom furniture looked good but not supportive for comfort.
The setting of the garden and local village was great. The owner was very friendly and helpful communicator.

"The cottage was lovely and in a quiet and pretty location."
Parking was a bit of an issue as we had two cars and no parking at the property due to the narrow lanes. The owner was very welcoming and there were some lovely touches such as flowers, wine and chocolates. The property is well equipped and spacious - we stayed in Autumn and it would be lovely to return in warmer weather to enjoy the pretty garden. The kitchen is well equipped but the electric hob is a bit temperamental and took a long time to boil water for cooking. I stayed with my sister and she loves cooking so the kitchenette was a bit disappointing for her. However these were very minor issues and we had a lovely time with some superb walks across the fields and lanes. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

"We really enjoyed our stay but the internet is very poor there."
The only thing I think could be improved is, another slip mat in the shower as I am partially disabled, and almost fell when moving off the slip mat, as there is still an area of the shower floor which gets very slippery. I used a tea towel I took with us, and put it on the floor of the shower, to prevent an accident. Other than that the cottage was perfect for us.

Owner very chatty and friendly. Lack of parking initially worried me but there was ample places nearby. A friendly villlage almost everyone spoke to us. Only thing we struggled with was height of hobs on oven. Cottage was otherwise great. Garden area was good too.

Cottage was very comfortable situated in host's garden which we were invited to use. Our part of outside patio was well set up to give privacy in this shared arrangement.
