"I stayed at Pomme Blushe House with my family from Friday the 10th to the 12th of July, and it was unbelievably beautiful."
The location alone makes it special, it felt like we'd been transported to rural France rather than a short trip from home.
The cottage itself is gorgeously decorated, and the thoughtful touches from the host made all the difference. We arrived to find Pomme Blushe apple juice, a generous spread of snacks, and a bottle of Prosecco to help celebrate my 30th birthday. The hot tub and robes were another lovely touch that made the whole stay feel like a proper treat.
We were lucky enough to catch the heatwave too, which made it feel even more like a holiday abroad. Honestly, it was one of the best family weekends away we've had. Everyone agreed we could happily live there.
Could not recommend this cottage enough. We will absolutely be back.

"It was an overall very good property."
Everything was to hand and the lovely welcome hamper was an unexpected treat. Lovely comfortable chairs, sofas and beds. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t warm enough to sit in the garden but that would be an added bonus.
We would definitely recommend astray at Pomme Blushe House.

"Spent Christmas here and it was lovely and cosy."
The Christmas tree and decorations were lovely and a nice surprise. Also the hamper, which we enjoyed! If you want peace and quiet, this is ideal. The garden was secure for our dog and there’s an added section on the side with grass and can imagine in the warmer weather will be lovely to sit out in. We didn’t try the hot tub, it was too cold outside

"Lovely spacious cottage in a beautiful quiet location."
Comfy beds and living space, which was great to come back to after a fun day exploring Devon. The welcome hamper was a wonderful surprise on arrival, including milk in the fridge, which was very much appreciated.
Highly recommend West Bay beach (10min drive) and The Parlour Italian Restaurant at Bredy Farm (5min drive).
Were informed in advance about builders working opposite the property, but this didn't bother us. Would have appreciated more detail in advance about the wood burning hot tub, as it takes 3-4 hours to heat, we eventually gave up in the end. Had issues with the fridge which was not constantly staying cold. However had great communication with owner to resolve issue, with a small 2nd fridge installed, thank you.

"Pomme Blushe is a lovely house, well maintained and fully equipped."
We eventually mastered the log fire for the hot tub and used it a few times. We found the ground floor beds lumpy but the beds on the first floor are very comfortable. Both showers are great, they could do with a shelf each to hold shampoo etc but that did not spoil our stay. The house is in a quiet location with easy access to the Jurassic coast and the Devon border. From the house, If you walk to the opposite field, the views are amazing. It is a lovely place to stay.

"The accommodation and setting is first class."
We enjoyed a fantastic week visiting Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove and Weymouth. Plenty of beach time with the granddaughter the favourite being Hive Beach.
Would recommend the Hive Restaurant for a dinner at sunset and the Parlour for a quirky twist on an Italian restaurant both offering quality food.
Barbeque/hot tub nights at the cottage also special. Butchers in he centre of Bridport is excellent for barbeque food.
The New Inn is a nice 10 minute walk down the track and lane and offers good pub food.
All in all a great location and 5 star accommodation.

"A great property, lovely location."
Suitable for all needs however in the shower, a slip mat & tray for toiletries would benefit those with less mobility in line with a downstairs bedroom.
Description did state wood burning hot tub but took 3-4 hours to heat, too long after days out therefore didn’t use as much as we wanted. An electric hot tub would be more used.
Nice touches such as towels, robes etc, and the welcome hamper with tea, coffee & milk in the fridge ready on arrival with snacks was appreciated.

Everyone really enjoyed themselves and it was a lovely break. The grounds were lovely too. I would highly recommend to my friends and family. My girls and their friends even went to the beach for the day. I loved the fact that it felt like home from home there was everything that you needed. We hope to book again thank you

"We had the best week staying at Pomme Blushe - it was our baby grandsons first holiday and we couldn’t have found a more beautiful place to spend a family holiday all together."
The house was fantastic with everything we needed and more including a wood fired hot tub and a large bbq.
The house was spotlessly clean and the owners had added so many thoughtful extra touches like a fantastic welcome hamper, milk in the fridge, dressing gowns and some amazing scented shampoo, body washes and moisturiser!
We had a superb meal at the village pub, The New Inn, which is very dog friendly, and less than 1/2 mile away and walkable if you take a torch!
The wider area has too much to talk about but we can definitely recommend a meal at The Anchor Inn in Burton Bradstock (amazing seafood!) a walk along the Hive beach (dog friendly) and coffee in the cafe there, a wander around Westbay and along the beach (stay away from the cliffs as they’re crumbling

Everything was provided including a lovely Christmas tree and a delicious hamper of goodies!
The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the beds were very comfortable.Lovely to have bathrobes. It felt very luxurious.
The setting is peaceful but only a 10 minutes drive into Bridport and lovely beach walks. . The hot tub took a bit of attention but it got to temperature eventually.
A lovely property . Thoroughly recommend !

The house and gardens more than lived up to expectations.
The welcome basket was the best we have ever seen, the White Company minis were a lovely touch and the owners made us feel very welcome.
Would certainly consider a repeat visit if travelling to this part of Dorset again. Thank you.

"Just Wow! This wasn't just a holiday, it was a week of being in a dream!"
The house just hits you with a Wow factor on entering, with its layout, decor and facilities. Then, when you discover the owners have worked very hard on providing everything you could want or need, makes you relax much more into the dream.
With out of this world views of the country, great coastal locations to visit within short drives, the only thing we regret is not booking for longer!
Many thanks for having us stay in the dream Pomme Blushe House

"A gorgeous spacious cottage for a family of 5."
Light and airy, lovely views from the dedicated garden and while very quiet is a short drive to the lovely Hive Beach. and also the amenities of Bridport, and a friendly local pub in the village (10 min walk). Recommended if you want privacy but not isolation. If you venture out to eat the Hive Beach Cafe is highly recommended.

"Pomme Blushe House was very beautiful house."
It had everything we needed for the stay. All the bedrooms were really comfortable. We actually used the master bedroom for our children. The day bed in there was perfect to turn around and use as a cot bed. (Our 2 year old climbs out of traditional travel cots) so this was perfect for us.
Loved all the little touches. The white company minis and the welcome box was so thoughtful.
We definitely will be staying again. Thank you.
