  • "Nice personal touch being met by the owner to handover the key."

    There were a few things that let the place down:- Silly but annoying, someone has touched up some paint in the main bathroom and it was a slightly different colour - (Just paint the whole wall, didn't need to be the whole bathroom !) The blind in the bedroom which has been commented on in other reviews, wasn't really a problem for us but I don't understand why in a 6 hour turnover window this could not have been fixed. I found the missing piece of blind behind the chest of drawers in the bedroom can't understand why that hadn't been found before? which leads to the next comment:- The flat was not super clean there was actually a load of fluff under the main bedroom bed. (The vacuum had been left out in the second bedroom). I had seen a previous comment on the comfort of the furniture in lounge which I thought odd - but sadly they are not comfortable and the main bedroom bed is like sleeping on a blancmange, awful! Having said all that we had a great week loved the quiet and convenient location of the flat and grateful for being able to have our dog there. I would go back but not to that particular apartment. Kitchen could do with a simple wooden spoon for stirring - I bought one as a gift - but then forgot to leave it! thanks

  • "The holiday property was situated in a good area, close to the beach, shops and facilities."

    There was a couple of things that needed repairing/renewing the toilet cistern in the main bathroom had a big crack in it but it didn't leak so that was okay and the vertical blinds in the main room some of the weights are broken, and the vertical blinds in the main bedroom weren't working other than that a really nice place to stay and would recommend and stay there again.

    We were impressed with the quality and range of the fixtures and fittings and how clean the whole apartment was. Great location for beach, shops and bus services to explore all along the coast both ways.

  • "Washing machine listed in description but not there."

    When I queried with owner he said there had been a leak and no time to replace, but the apartment is small and the kitchen tiny, no space for a washing machind. This was very inconvenient for us as we had packed light intending to do a wash mid week. Sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on, needs replacing. Beds very comfortable.

  • "A good, well equipped holiday flat, near a super beach."

    The owner was very pleasant and helpful. You do need to change your description, it is not on the ground floor, but lower ground or basement. There are stairs, or a lift, down from street level. The little terrace is several feet below pavement level.
