  • "Brambles was a lovely place to stay."

Great base for visiting various places. The house was clean and tidy and had tea, coffee, sugar and milk which was handy as we got there late at night. The cottage is advertised as dog friendly and it is to some extent. It says slabs and gravel. If your dog is ok with toileting on slabs then it is great mine are not i thought there would be accessible gravel but the gravel was in raised beds. So they did get a bit stressed when wanting to go to the toilet. Also it would be great if there was a mirror in one of the bedrooms.

Thank you for your feedback. Im sorry you didn’t find the garden suitable for your dog, however there are 4 photos of the garden on the listing. There is a public green to the rear of the property and several fields close by. We will take the mirror feedback on board. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at Brambles."

The property is very well located for both the beach and restaurants. We didn’t need the car at all! The property is very well equipped & had everything we needed. It’s comfortable, clean & has a great sociable living space for a family. Plus, the outside space is a real bonus. Thanks very much.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad you had a lovely time. Property Owner

Where you’ll be staying

WEST BAY

Bridport 1.5 miles; Lyme Regis 11 miles.

The attractive market town of Bridport grew up around the River Brit, and was shaped by its extensive history of rope and net making. The long, wide streets and alleyways between the houses were once where the flax strands were twisted into rope, while today those streets are filled with an interesting variety of shops, restaurants and inns. Bridport’s market is regularly featured on the River Cottage TV programme. 2 miles south of Bridport is the dramatic Jurassic coast at West Bay, now a World Heritage Site, home to the backdrop for TV's Harbour Lights and the coastal setting for popular Broadchurch, whilst the picturesque resort of Lyme Regis is within 10 miles. A superb base for exploring wonderful West Dorset.
