  • "The property was well maintained, bathroom could do with a little TLC , but didn’t spoil our stay, well equipped kitchen and good quality cooking equipment, fantastic view from the window, we were lucky with the weather for October, spare key to the lift when we arrived wasn’t there, luckily another couple were going in the lift so we went in with them, until we could get our keys from the key safe by the front door to take our cases up , enjoyed it that much we are booking it again for next year."

  • "We stayed at this accommodation last year and was happy with the flat and it's position in west bay."

Unfortunately on our return trip things have changed considerably. The flat needs lots of TLC. There is black mould on the ceiling in the main room and in the bathroom. The flat was dirty in several areas. The corridor that go's past the flat was very noisy. People constantly up and down in the lift (next to flat 30) made it very difficult for us to enjoy our stay.

  • "A fabulous, spacious studio with a wonderful view and couldn't be closer to the beach."

We loved our short stay here, finding the kitchen small but well equipped. The bathroom is excellent with plenty of storage and a fantastic shower. (We didn't see a sign/instruction that the water heater needs to be turned on manually but that would have been helpful). We were a bit trepidatious about the bed being a pull-out one but it was very comfy and as good as a divan. A lovely place to stay and we'd definitely stay again.

  • "Excellent property with everything needed supplied."

Gorgeous view, which I'm missing already. Only recommendations would be a mattress topper as the bed is a bit uncomfortable, descaling the kettle and some wd40 on the door lock as the key was difficult to get in the lock. No lift key on the notice board.

The carparking space was awkward to get our car in and out. But besides our problems the flat was in a lovely position opposite the sea and we did have a lovely holiday

  • "We booked this apartment at short notice and got a good reduction from the initial cost."

We were due to arrive in West Bay in the early afternoon, so very grateful to the owner for arranging for us to use the parking space for a couple of hours before 'checking in time' at 4pm. The flat was adequately furnished and clean, though the paintwork a little 'tired.' But the first thing that took our attention was the uninterrupted, absolutely superb view across the beach to the ocean. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Very grateful for the pint of milk left for us in the fridge. Good quality shower with plenty of hot water. Great little TV with Netflix which was a surprise bonus. There was also a DVD player and a few DVDs provided. The only negative was the bed. The mattress was extremely poor quality, very soft and uncomfortable. No matter how carefully we tried, it was impossible to get out of bed, or even turn over, without the frame squeaking and groaning loudly (we're not heavy people by any means!) Perhaps a spray of WD40 would help? Also the duvet has seen far better days and was very lumpy. Bedding was clean though, and the pillows were fine.... Despite the problems with the bed we had a wonderful holiday in beautiful West Bay and would definitely book this apartment again if the price is right.

  • "The property was really cold when we arrived."

It took 2 days to warm up. Someone had been there in the day. They could of turned the heating on for us , to warm it up. The mattress was horrible and uncomfortable or it may have been the bed itself. If your partner moved the whole bed bounced up and down. Mould in places. With the view, would of been nice if window was cleaned.. Needs a new floor . Cheap laminate which isn't the waterproof type, so is all coming up. I'm not keen on 10 am leaving and rushing around trying to get out on time. Especially as it's supposed to be a holiday. . I try to get properties that have a 12pm leave time like Travelodge and premier Inn. This is much more relaxed and civil. I hope this helps to get more customers. But I won't be coming back because of these things..

could do with a side lamp or similar as main lights are way to bright, and perhaps a rail to hang some clothing otherwise all ok mark

  • "When we arrived the place had not been cleaned, dirty sheets and towels still left from previous customers."

It was eventually sorted after I contacted the number left, but very inconvenient after a long drive. I feel the whole complex needs a good clean, also workmen were digging the parking yard putting in new water pipes and the water kept being switched of that no-one had let us know about. The view from the window was stunning ,shame about every else.

Thank you for your feedback but I am very surprised to hear you say that this was “eventually sorted” when I immediately contacted our cleaners as soon as you advised me of the error and also offered to pay for you to eat out whilst they cleaned, I was delighted to receive your kind text so quickly confirming that it was promptly resolved “lovely young man came and gave it a good clean, new bedding and towels” as well as us compensating you for the inconvenience with your choice of takeaway, I was unaware of any works in the car park area which is out of my control as is the communal area I believe you suggest needs a clean but this is maintained by a management company and feel it is kept to an acceptable standard Property Owner
